World’s Largest Starbucks In Tokyo Has Coffee Cocktails, Popsicle Teas And More!

In the heart of Tokyo’s Naka Meguro neighborhood, there is a new kid on the block. This four storey Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo is the largest in the world, serving up not just special gourmet coffees, but exclusive teas, desserts, pizzas and even cocktails!

With a line of 955 parties on opening day, here’s why the new Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Tokyo is worth all the hype.

How to get there : It is a 9 minute walk from Naka-Meguro Station.

The enchanting interior of the store was inspired by the famous Cherry Blossom trees lining the Meguro river. With floor to ceiling glass walls, visit during sakura season and you’ll come eye level with the trees and their reflection upon the river.

Upon entering the Roastery, you’ll be greeted by the world’s largest Starbucks Roastery coffee cask, spanning four floors tall. The rose gold roastery embellished with handcrafted cherry blossoms changes hues throughout the day, promising a different experience every time you visit.

The Princi Bakery located on the first floor serves freshly baked handcrafted authentic Italian fare. Enjoy freshly baked bread, cornetti, focaccias, pizzas and more! This is the first Princi Bakery in Japan!

On the second floor, you’ll step into the traditions of Japanese tea at the world’s largest Teavana bar. One exclusive tea you can’t miss is the Pop’n Tea Sakura Jasmine! It features a vibrant hibiscus and cherry popsicle which sits on top of a floral jasmine tea.

Head up to the third floor and you’ll find Starbucks Japan’s first cocktail bar Arriviamo™! Featuring tea and coffee inspired cocktails, you’ll only find these at this Tokyo Roastery. The Nakameguro Espresso Martini is a hot favourite – made with chestnut liqueur, crème de cacao and espresso, then paired with decadent chocolate from the Nakameguro brand.

The fourth floor of the Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo is home to the AMU Inspiration Lounge. This intimate space hosts change-makers and creative thinkers and the first event in April will celebrate the role of women leaders in Japan.
