Lotte's Busan attraction is Asia's first European-style theme park
Back in 2018, Lotte World revealed details of the development of the "Lotte's Magic Forest" - a new theme park that is expected to open in mid 2021 in Busan, South Korea.
What to expect from Lotte's Magic Forest
The new theme park will consist of six nature-inspired themed zones and is expected to be 4 times bigger than Seoul's famous Lotte World Theme Park! The theme park is currently under construction and is committed to open its doors by summer 2021. We sure hope this scheduled opening date does not get affected by the pandemic situation!
We've peeked into the concept images of the theme park by Legacy Entertainment, and trust us when we say it looks absolutely surreal and beautiful! Lotte's Magic Forest will look completely different from Lotte World and any other theme park in Asia. In fact, the guiding concept of the development is to create Asia's first European-style theme park.
Some elements you can look forward to at Lotte's Magic Forest include plenty of family-friendly rides and attractions, roller coasters, a friendly talking tree in the heart of the theme park, an enormous animated Cuckoo Clock that will welcome you at the entrance, stages for performances by mascots dressed as Lotte's characters, and a beautiful castle that looks straight out of a fairytale.
It seems that the theme park will also house lounges, shopping malls, restaurants, hotels, as well as other facilities that will promise a wholesome experience.
While we're unsure whether Lotte's Magic Forest will be opening its doors as scheduled, we hope the construction work is going well and we're looking forward to walking into this magical wonderland once it's ready!
