Remember when concerts in Manila and fan meets were happening left and right? We miss those days and we’re sure you do, too. These events are always filled with excitement and anticipation for both the fans and the artists.
Since the pandemic, the concert scene in Manila hasn’t been as vibrant as it once was. But after years of patiently waiting for tour dates and watching online performances, some of our favorite bands and artists are finally going back on tour this year. Now’s your chance to book tickets and see your idols up close and we’ve compiled a list of Manila concerts and fan meets for 2022 so you can mark your calendars.
Billie Eilish
Billie had to postpone her 2020 tour due to the pandemic, but she’s finally pushing through with the Asian leg of her Happier Than Ever Tour at the SM MOA Arena on August 13. There are only a few seats left so hurry and get your tickets at SM Tickets.
All Time Low
After five long years, pop-punk band All Time Low is coming back to the Philippines! Let nostalgia hit you when you catch them live at the SM MOA Arena. Purchase tickets via SM Tickets and rock your socks out to songs like “Dear Maria, Count Me In” and “Monsters” on August 15.
Yugyeom
The boys of GOT7 are taking Manila by storm one member at a time. Followed by Youngjae, BamBam, and Jackson, the group’s maknae, Yungyeom, is having a solo performance at the New Frontier Theater on August 19. Ticket prices start at P4,500 and are available at Ticketnet.
The Maine
On August 27, the emo band we grow up with is celebrating its 15th anniversary and you’re invited. Fall back into their arms at the SM North EDSA Skydome and sing your heart out at The Maine’s Back in Manila concert. Limited tickets are available so snag them ASAP via SM Tickets.
B.I.
Kim Han-bin, better known by his stage name, B.I. is ready to meet all his fans at the B.I. Offline event on August 27. Show your support for the South Korean singer-rapper at the New Frontier Theatre. SVIP Tickets cost P13,500 but include perks like Photo Op, Soundcheck Access, and signed merch. Ben&Ben
Be serenaded by OPM band Ben&Ben at the CCP Open Grounds on September 3. Jam along to their hits like “Pagtingin,” “Lifetime,” and many more. Tickets prices for the Send-Off Concert range from P500 to P2,500 via Ticketnet. See them before they head off to the US and Canada for their tour.
G(I)-DLE
Oh my God! PH Neverlands are in for a treat as K-pop group G(I)-DLE is heading to Manila this year. Get your tickets for their Just Me World Tour happening on September 11 at the New Frontier Theatre. Tickets are now on sale on Ticketnet and the price starts at P3,500.
The Script
If you haven’t seen The Script at their past concerts in Manila, now’s the time to meet them for the first time. On September 23, they’re bringing their Greatest Hits Tour to the SM MOA Arena. Sing along to smash hits like “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved,” “Breakeven,” and “Hall of Fame.” Sad news, though: All tickets are now unavailable.
Hwang In Youp
Hwang In Youp was recently in the country on June 19 for a BYS Fun Meet, but he’s returning for a second time on September 24 at the New Frontier Theatre. Filipino HIYILYs, you still have time to save up for tickets to attend the True Beauty actor’s first Asia Fan Meeting Tour. Stay tuned to Applewood’s pages for further announcements.
Jessi
Jessi is arriving in the Philippines sooner than expected and she can’t wait to meet her Filipino Jebbies. The Korean-American rapper behind the viral song “Zoom” is set to perform at the SM MOA Arena on September 30. General admission for Zoom In Manila is set at P1,700 via SM Tickets.
Seventeen
Heads up, Filipino Carats! The boys of Seventeen are “Rock With You” at the two-night concert in Manila. The Be The Sun World Tour will be held on October 8 and 9 at the SM MOA Arena. It seems that two days is not enough as both dates are currently sold out.
Boys Like Girls
After rescheduling their Manila concert several times, Boys Like Girls finally got the green light to perform at the New Frontier Theater on October 10 and 11. Cebu fans also get to see them live at the Sky Hall Seaside on October 12. Go on a “Great Escape” and buy tickets to the new dates via Ticketnet.
Tomorrow x Together
Are Filipino MOAs ready to fall in love all over again with the boys of TXT? As part of their <ACT: LOVE SICK> Tour, they’re scheduled for two days in Manila at the SM MOA Arena on October 15 and 16. Keep your eyes peeled for ticket prices and seating arrangements on Big Hit’s website.
Justin Bieber
Whether you’ve been a Belieber since Justin Bieber’s My World eraor only recently became a fan, we know how much you want to see him live. Keep each other’s company on October 29 as he performs on stage at the CCP Open Grounds for Justice World Tour. You don’t want to miss out on the chance to be his “One Less Lonely Girl.” Hurry because tickets are limited on SM Tickets.
Avril Lavigne
“Here's to never growing up” and head banging to the punk rock princess’ best hits on November 3. Avril Lavigne is making a comeback with her 7th album, Love Sux, and you can hear it live at the Araneta Coliseum. Purchase tickets via Ticketnet and be eligible for Novotel Araneta’s special accommodation rates.
LANY
LANY obviously loves their Filipino fans so bad. Why else would they have five shows in Manila? November 11, 12, 13, 15, and 16 will truly be a November to Remember at the SM MOA Arena. They’ve added more seats, so head on over to SM Tickets before you miss out. General Admission costs P1,950, while VIP Standing are being sold at P6,550.
Boy Pablo
Boy Pablo is finally scheduled to visit Manila as part of his Asia Tour 2022. The singer-songwriter will have you grooving all night to hits like “hey girl” and “Dance, Baby” at the New Frontier Theatre. Tickets to his show on November 23 are available on Tickenet and range from P1,685 to P3,895.
Maroon 5
Make new “Memories” with Maroon 5 as they return for a concert in Manila. Consider this an early Christmas gift to yourself and gets tickets for their show on December 8 at the SM MOA Arena. Maroon 5's 2022 World Tour tickets start at P2,500 for general admission and go all the way up to P23,500 for VIP standing. Get your tickets before it’s too late via SM Tickets.
Keshi
Before the year ends, Keshi is taking his HELL/HEAVEN Tour to Asia, with Manila on the itinerary. Don’t hesitate to get your hands on a pair of tickets for December 11 at the New Frontier Theatre.
