    Bring home the boba!

You’re probably wondering what exactly the Taiwan milk tea craze is all about. Well, let us introduce you to this wonderful drink called bubble tea.
While you’re on the Beautiful Island, you shouldn’t be surprised to find yourself entering one of the many milk tea shops in Taiwan at least once. The popularity of this sweet and refreshing drink has spread even beyond its borders. Here’s where to find the best Taiwanese milk teas in the country.

    1. Milksha

Milksha is a top-rated milk tea shop in Taiwan that’s been serving delicious drinks since 2004. It prides itself on using pure fresh milk, honey pearls, and hand-picked premium tea leaves to give you only the best Taiwan milk tea. Their best-selling products include Fresh Taro Milk which uses taro imported from Taiwan's Dajia District and Valrhona Coco Milk Tea which has a rich, chocolatey taste.

This milk tea shop in Taiwan started out as a modest fruit and beverage stand in 1994 and has grown in popularity thanks to its beverages with chewy pearls like the classic Bubble Milk Tea. It also helps that their drinks are quite affordable.

TP Tea is not only focused on serving its customers quality tea, but also on fostering friendships. The concept is taken from the tea culture during the Tang Dynasty where warm beverages were served in social settings. It’s the sister brand of Chun Shui Tang, so you can expect nothing but the best tea leaves prepared for each cup. The TieGuanYin Milk Tea is a must!

Despite having 14 locations across Taiwan, Chun Fun How still considers itself a hidden gem because it’s not as popular with tourists. Another popular drink on the menu is the Aloe Vera Honey that’s perfect to combat the sweltering heat.

    7. Huangjin Bubble Tea
There’s no shame in simply wanting a traditional Taiwan milk tea. The fruity flavors and cream cheese toppings are great options, but there’s just something comforting about iced black tea with frothed milk and squishy tapioca pearls. It’s a small stall in Taipei but they surely know how to make great boba. They’ve even got 1000cc cups in case you can’t get enough!
