Charismatic, comedic, and undeniably cool, our resident Youtube star joined her friends from Klook in her very first international trip with the brand after two years. The Klookada flew to sunny Singapore for a trip of fun-filled adventures unlike anything they have experienced before. This is Singapore Reimagined.
During the trip, we asked Mimiyuuuh to spill the tea on her first international trip with Klook, how she finds Singapore today, and what her favorite parts were during her 5-day experience. Scroll down to get the low down of her trip in partnership with Singapore Tourism Board.
1. What were her first reactions when arriving in the Singapore Airport?
Upon landing in Singapore, Mimiyuuuh was greeted by superb service in the beautifully designed Changi Airport. There she was assisted with orderly and friendly airport staff as they directed all passengers to their designated arrival area for immigration, baggage claim, and so much more. Truly a remarkable first impression, her reimagined trip was off to a great start.
Mimiyuuuh: "Wala na pong hassle and it’s super easy! No need to present any swab result when we went there and the people from immigration are very nice. Sabi pa nga po nung isa “You’re so pretty!” May taste talaga ang mga Singaporean. Kimmy!"

2. What was her favorite place to visit in Singapore?
When in Singapore, travelers have a multitude of options to consider to include in their itinerary. Within the city, there are dozens of tourist destinations from theme parks, museums, eateries, and so much more!
One popular area called Orchard Road reinvents mall culture for both locals and travelers. Aside from offering exclusive shopping brands that may be unique to Singapore, Orchard Road also has a row of new restaurant concepts that liven up the classic Singapore experience. As an added bonus, talented street performers are invited to perform and serenade shoppers and mallgoers.
Mimiyuuuh: "As a fashion girl, I really love visiting Orchard Road. Maraming shopping brands na wala sa Pilipinas at ang saya mag-food trip sa mga cafes at dining concepts nila."
3. What are new spots in Singapore she enjoyed?
As expected from an innovative city, Singapore creates a new way to enjoy zoo visits in their river-themed wildlife park. Within the Singapore Zoo, visionaries and creators designed River Wonders Singapore to give locals and tourists a rainforest park where animals and tourists can come together in this sustainability sanctuary.
Mimiyuuuh: "I loved River Wonders Singapore! If you want to experience nature in the city, dito first stop niyo! This is an open-concept rainforest in the Singapore Zoo. This place makes zoo visits more interactive and open for all ages! Kapag sinabing "zoo", it's more likely targeted for kids, pero sa River Wonders Singapore, adults will definitely enjoy too. Ako, sobrang nag-enjoy po ako! First time ko po makakita ng panda and leopard in person huhu."
4. What is the best thing about Singapore culture you’ve noticed on your trip?
Singapore locals are known to be friendly, helpful, and direct with their everyday exchanges. Tourists are able to navigate around the city with kind locals who are willing to help point you at the right direction, direct you to the right train stop, and suggest where the best places are to grab a bite! After two years cooped up during the pandemic, traveling to Singapore becomes a breath of fresh air as you can strike a conversation with wonderful new acquaintances among the locals.
Mimiyuuuh: "The people are very nice, accommodating and willing to help. Especially, the cab drivers. Cute nga po na they know some tagalog words. Singapore is one of the cleanest countries na napuntahan ko po. Everyone is helping to maintain the cleanliness katulad nung sa food court. Clean-as-you-go culture!"
5. Top 3 favorite Singapore dishes she loved and discovered.
One of the most buzzworthy aspects of Singapore is their food scene. Tourists are able to discover amazing food finds in their Hawker Center, Michelin-starred restaurants, and international branches of famed food stops found worldwide! With Singapore opening to tourists this 2022, foodies can expect new epicurean discoveries in every corner.
Mimiyuuuh: "LAKSA! Most of the restaurants in Singapore offer laksa and lahat po sila masarap!"

Mimiyuuuh: "CHILI CRAB! Two nights na puro chili crab po yung kinain namin. GRABEEEEEEE! Walang kasawaan."
Mimiyuuuh: "CHICKEN SATAY! First time ko ma-try yung chicken satay. Akala ko parehas sa barbecue on sticks or skewers pero it has it's own twist! Napaka-sarap at mauulit for sure!"

6. Why should Filipinos consider Singapore in their next international trip?
Singapore is a melting pot of culture, history, and people. Filipinos are in for a treat when they visit the city with new attractions and activities to experience in every corner. These reimagined experiences aim to awe and dazzle every new and past visitor who will make a trip to Singapore.
Mimiyuuuh: "There are a lot of exciting tourist spots in Singapore and it’s very near to each other thanks to their transportation system na maayos. Marami kayong magagawa sa isang araw! Sulit ang travel."
7. What would Mimiyuuuh like to say to her fans and followers who are thinking of traveling after 2 years?
Mimiyuuuh: "We are all deprived of exploring the world for two years! It’s time to pack our bags and travel again. And masasuggest ko po sa inyo to make Singapore your first country to visit. The people are nice and marami pa pong tourist spot that can make your travel memorable."
