1. Attack on Titan Final Season
The fourth and final installment of “Attack on Titan” is finally here! Adapted from Hajime Isayama’s award-winning manga “Shingeki no Kyojin”, the series revolves around a post-apocalyptic world where gigantic human-eating creatures, A.K.A Titans, roam the land, forcing what’s left of humanity to either seek protection behind walls or fight back.
2. Love Scene Number
This omnibus Viu drama tells the story of four women, Nam Doo-Ah, Lee Ha-Ram, Yoon Ban-Ya, and Jung Chung-Kyung. At ages 23, 29, 35, and 42, the series follows each woman as they navigate their way through love and relationships at different stages in their lives.
3. L.U.C.A: The Beginning
“L.U.C.A.: The Beginning” is an action thriller about a man named Ji Oh (Kim Rae Won) who possesses special abilities that can change the world. There’s only one catch: his past and origin has been completely wiped out. His powers attract him to mysterious forces that chase after him to acquire his secret. Lee Son (Kim Sung Oh), a violent crimes detective, is the only person who remembers him. Together, they fend off violent crimes while unravelling the question marks of their past.
4. Times
“Times” is a time-warping political drama that will have you at the edge of your seats. Seo Jung-in (Lee Joo Young) is a reporter who accidentally contacts a man named Lee Jin Woo (Lee Seo Jin) from 2015, the year her father was assassinated in a presidential election. Together with Lee Jin Woo, she uncovers the dangerous events that led to her father’s death and tries to undo the past to keep her father alive.
5. The Penthouse Season 2
“The Penthouse” is returning with another season. The K-drama made waves with its first season, tackling themes of family, relations, wealth, and greed. The show is set in a 100-floor luxury penthouse apartment and follows three women: Shim Su Ryeon (Lee Ji-Ah) who was born into wealth but faces her own trauma from her husband; Cheon Seo Jin (Yoon Jong-Hoon) an arrogant primadonna who will do anything it takes to get what she want; and Oh Yoon Hee (Eugene), a girl from a poor family who works hard to climb the ladder to high society. If you have yet to watch season 1, get bingeing!
6. Breakup Probation, A Week
Yuri of Girls’ Generation makes a comeback to the silver screen in a new minidrama “Breakup Probation, A Week”. It tells the story of Park Ga Ram (Yuri), a woman who must break up with her fiance, Kim Seon Jae (Hyun Woo), within a week to save his life. Follow their journey through love, heartbreak, regret, and sacrifice in this fantasy romance.
7. River Where the Moon Rises
Based on the novel “Princess Pyeonggang” by Choi Sagyu, Viu Original “River Where the Moon Rises” is a historical romance starring Kim So Hyun who plays Princess Pyeonggang and Ji Soo who plays General On Dal in a classic Goguryeo folktale. Driven by ambition, Yeom Ga Jin (also known as Pyeonggang) dreams of one day being the first Empress of Goguryeo. To achieve her goals, she plays with Dal’s emotions to her advantage - which leaves her with conflicting emotions.
8. Dear M
“Dear M” is a college-romance that follows four college students as they try to discover the identity of M—an individual mentioned in an anonymous confession post that causes a commotion in the University’s online forum. The series is a spin-off of the hit web drama series “Love Playlist.”
9. The Beauty Inside (Tagalog)
Adapted from the popular movie of the same title, “The Beauty Inside” is about celebrity actress Han Se Gye (played by Seo Hyun Jin) who has a condition that unexpectedly changes her appearance for an unknown number of days. This unusual phenomenon causes her to be the object of many rumors in the industry. She then meets Seo Do Jae (Lee Min Ki), a successful businessman who suffers from Prosopagnosia—an inability to recognize faces. Together, the two help one another to keep Han Se Gye’s secret from being exposed.
10. Another Miss Oh (Tagalog)
Fans can now rewatch Seo Hyun Jin in one of her most iconic roles in this tagalog-dubbed version. “Another Miss Oh” is a romantic comedy about two women who share the same name, Oh Hae Young, and the same fate with the same man, Park Do Kyung, a sound director who can see the future.
