How do you like your coffee?

Have you ever wondered how other people from all over the world enjoy their coffee? As we are on our -nth day of quarantine, some of you might be getting tired of your daily brew. So, why not mix it up? If you’ve already taken a swing at dalgona coffee, here are other ideas - from around the world - that’ll make a barista out of you.

     Finland - Kaffeost

Although unusual, Finish people love the unique combo of hot coffee poured over cheese curds!

    Spain - Cafe Bombon

Perfect for those who love their coffee strong and sweet, Spanish Cafe Bombon is a delectable concoction of strong hot coffee, sweetened condensed milk, topped with whipped cream.

Vietnam - Cà Phê Dá (Vietnamese Iced Coffee)

Known to be strong, coarsely ground dark-roasted coffee is brewed straight into sweetened condensed milk and ice -- perfectly refreshing for a hot summer day.
They're also known for other coffee concoctions such as egg coffee and coconut coffee:

    Cuba - Cafe Cubano

Comes in small servings but definitely packs a punch! Cubans like their simple espresso mixed with sugar.

    France - Cafe Au Lait

Equal parts steamed milk and brewed coffee makes for a creamy morning drink. The French also like to dip their croissant into their coffee so it’s usually served in a big cup!

    Australia - Flat White

Microfoam milk is poured over espresso making this drink creamier and more velvety than your typical latte.

    Ireland - Irish Coffee

Better enjoyed at happy hour than during breakfast, this coffee cocktail is made of brewed coffee, Irish whiskey, sweet milk, topped with thick foam.

    Singapore - Kopi

What makes Kopi special is the bean-roasting process. In high heat, sugar and margarine is mixed with the beans to caramelize and bring out its flavor. The coffee ground is then mixed with hot water and strained in a flannel sock filter, which is then enjoyed with sweetened condensed milk.

    Hong Kong - Yuanyang

If you can’t choose between coffee and milk tea, then this drink is for you! A mix of coffee, tea, and milk, this drink can be enjoyed hot or cold.

    Morocco - Spiced coffee

Moroccans like their coffee very fragrant - dark coffee blended with spices such as nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves.

    Italy - Affogato

Topped with ice cream - it might seem more like dessert! But we’ll gladly take it at any time of the day!

    Austria - Einspanner

Whoever said Koreans invented whipped coffee obviously never heard of the Austrian’s traditional cup of joe. Einspanner is just as fancy as it sounds - so for slower mornings when you can alot some extra time to whip up this concoction, we recommend you try it!

Philippines - Black coffee with Pandesal

    pandesal
Nothing says Filipino more than dipping a pandesal bun into your hot brewed coffee in the morning while reading the daily newspaper.
