Attention travelers!
Cebu Pacific has announced the relocation of its flights to Masbate and Siargao from Manila to Clark International Airport starting March 30.
This move aligns with the government’s directive to transfer turboprop plane operations to Clark or other secondary airports to help ease congestion at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Additionally, direct flights between Manila and Surigao will be discontinued, with passengers being offered the option to connect through Cebu instead.
Cebu Pacific Chief Strategy Officer Alex Reyes shared in an interview with TeleRadyo Serbisyo that passengers affected by these changes can rebook their flights free of charge within 30 days from the original schedule, transfer the amount paid to a travel fund, or request a full refund.
Reyes further explained that this adjustment marks the initial phase of transitioning flights away from NAIA. He stated, “By October, turboprop operations from Manila should be completely phased out.”
However, AirSWIFT, a Cebu Pacific subsidiary, will continue to operate from NAIA until March 2026. Reyes clarified that the government’s resolution prioritizes larger operators, like CebGo and PAL Express, for the initial phase of the transfer.
Turboprop aircraft are smaller planes, typically seating around 60 passengers, used to access regional destinations like Camiguin, Calbayog, Siargao, Masbate, Surigao, Busuanga, and Naga, where airports can only accommodate smaller aircraft.
