Meeting animals has never been this fun.

If you are to visit Singapore, there’s a chance that you’ve probably heard of Singapore Night Safari. This is one of the latest attractions in the bustling city and tourists and animal enthusiasts are enjoying every second of it.
Nature lovers will appreciate how this night safari in Singapore made its design more interactive but at the same time made sure that the animals aren’t bothered. With over 2,500 animals inside, you’ll learn more about these species at night. Not convinced yet? Here are some of the reasons why you should include Singapore Night Safari on your travel itinerary.

    1. Entering a new world

Given that the name is Singapore Night Safari, there’s no doubt that there’s a big difference between visiting zoos during broad daylight and going to safaris at night. You’ll see some of the members of the wildlife including White African lions, elephants, Axis deers, and rhinoceros to name a few.

    2. The tram ride

Singapore Night Safari goers have two options when touring the place: tram or by foot. Aside from seeing unique animal species in real life, riding on a tram can make your trip exciting. The tram will pass by several special animal exhibits.

You can choose between a normal tram and an express tram. The latter will allow you to skip the long line while waiting for your next tram ride, which is why this is worth it if you’re saving time.

    3. Walking trails

After riding a tram for 40 minutes, you can walk around the trails and meet fishing cats, lions, bears, tigers, and more. The Singapore Night Safari has 4 walking trails: Leopard trail, Fishing Cat trail, Wallaby Trail, and East Lodge Trail. Each trail will show a special set of animals waiting for you. If time permits, you can just enjoy checking all of them!

    5. Meet the nocturnal animals

Oftentimes we aren’t aware which animals are awake when we’re usually sleeping. Creatures of the Night in Singapore Night Safari are introduced and the spotlight belongs to those adorable nocturnal animals. You can get to see owls in real life, too.

    6. Get to know the wild animals

Animals that originally belonged to the vast forest can be dangerous for clueless humans but that isn’t the case for Singapore Night Safari. Both have a safe environment for animals and nature lovers.

There are plenty of activities for Singapore Night Safari goers to make this tour a night to remember. The animals you never thought you’d see in person will leave you in awe. Unique species like the armadillos, giant anteater, pangolin, leopards, and civets are just some of the animals that’ll give you a thrilling experience.

    7. The shows

Whether you’re with friends or family, going to Singapore Night Safari is worth it. After riding the tram and exploring the trails, you can stop by and rest while watching amazing shows that will highlight the skills of the animals.

    8. The restaurant

The night safari in Singapore also has a restaurant called Ulu Ulu restaurant. Here, you can munch on savory Asian dishes. You can also notice the native touch of the restaurant since it’s designed after the “kampong” or villages that were once in the city of Singapore. Today, the last surviving “kampong” in Singapore is located in Buangkok in Hougang. It was built in 1956 and is still present to this day.
