Camp out under the stars and in the cradle of nature at Anawangin Cove in San Antonio, Zambales. This popular camping Subic beach is flocked by many tourists for a reason. It’s picturesque scenery and secluded location make it the perfect hideaway destination. Unlike your typical white sand beaches, the sand in Anawangin is the product of volcanic ash from the spewings of the mighty Mt. Pinatubo. This created a topography that’s unique to Anawangin.
Note: If you’re staying in Anawangin or Silanguin Cove, we recommend contacting the LGU’s tourism desks below to check your options.

One of the newly rediscovered Subic beaches is the Silanguin Cove in San Antonio, Zambales. This forgotten beauty is unique from other coves in the area because of the sand - which isn’t like the volcanic ash sand you would typically find in Subic beaches. But don’t let this fool you: it has one of the most stunning backdrops of red-colored hills that seem to fire up the landscape. Its waters are also teeming with marine life, providing a bountiful harvest for local fishermen and tourists who’d like to try their hand at fishing.
