While tourism in Zambales is currently open for locals only, the Subic Freeport Zone is now accepting tourists from MGCQ areas. Take note that those under 21 and over 65 years of age are not allowed to visit yet, together with pregnant women and tourists with immunodeficiency, comorbidity and other health risks. If you’ll be coming from a GCQ area, be reminded of the following requirements:
- Health certificate from private or public doctors,
- Confirmed pre-booking of leisure hotel and copy of the proposed itinerary (If staying for more than 96 hours), and
- Negative RT-PCR Test result

One of the newly rediscovered Subic beaches is the Silanguin Cove in San Antonio, Zambales. This forgotten beauty is unique from other coves in the area because of the sand - which isn’t like the volcanic ash sand you would typically find in Subic beaches.
