Things to do in Shiga Kogen

This is my first snow and snowfall experience, and the snow monkey keep crawling beisde me, good adventure and experience! and the cheapest tour from tokyo to nagano

The trip was enjoyable. the driving was safe. The guide, Masa, was very much accommodating and kind.

Awesome food & awesome guide that explained a lot while on the drive up! the Snow Monkeys did not disappoint! Be prepared for si icy, muddy trails &:wear hiking boots! I saw a lot of white tennis shoes (but not for long)! The mud will splash a bit too! It was on the back if my legs. Dress appropriately, it's cold 🥶 but so worth it!

This was a whole day tour to the Snow Monkeys and everything was included apart from items brought at servo stops. Bus was very comfy and tour guide was great and friendly as! Lunch was also really good and authentic. Walk to the monkeys was not to bad and we were given a good amount of time there. Monkeys were out and were so cute to watch from a distance 🤣❄️🐒

Prompt communication by the provider. Guide was helpful and driver was very polite and was knowledgeable. Only catch a few monkeys dipping in the pool

We are so happy and lucky that we were able to see many monkeys in the hotspring. The free lunch which is the beef sukiyaki was so delicious. Superb experience indeed!

it was wonderful to be up close & personal to see the snow monkeys enjoying the onset. the lunch as delicious and bonus - opportunity to buy local souvenirs after lunch (wished I got more muscat cream daifuku to share local goodies with friends back home). great guide and driver - very courteous. only wished we rented the boots to make the snow-covered trek less slippery.
