The restaurant is located within the Tenryuji Temple grounds, and you need to purchase an additional ticket to enter, which costs JPY 500 per person. The restaurant was fully booked that day. The dishes are exquisite, including sesame-flavored tofu and vegetarian dishes that look like lion heads. It is a healthy meal.

Recommended by Michelin, it deserves its reputation. Simple food, different taste. Book through KLook during the red leaf season to avoid queuing, saving time and convenience.

As a vegetarian I was looking forward to this dining experience in Kyoto and I was not disappointed. The portions are generous, exquisite and in line with seasonal ingredients. If you don't want to sit on the tatami, the restaurant can arrange stools for guests to sit on. This arrangement is very suitable for my parents. Remember to buy a ticket (courtyard) to enter the restaurant

The entrance is really on time. When you arrive, you will start with some side dishes. You will have to wait longer for the main dishes. They also provide free tea and other paid drinks. I am really full after one meal.

You have to buy tickets for the garden to access the temple restaurant. The garden is very beautiful to visit, it gives it charm. Regarding the restaurant, the food is excellent. There are lots of different flavors. I recommend this restaurant.

The service & experience is exceptional. The food is served at 3 batches and the staff would see our progress before serving more. and everything is so delicious. the garden outside is really zen. would definitely recommend to my family & friends.

The soup tofu set here is the best. The yudofu is rich, and the tempura and Kyoto vegetable salad are also delicious. You can choose a free drink before the meal, which is very cost-effective. The view from the garden is also beautiful and impressive. The staff are also very friendly.

The staff must not speak English but are friendly. When I went there, I learned that there is a very good traditional shop with a vegetarian set!
