Things to do in Higashi Chaya District

The tour guide arranged well and the 2-day and 1-night itinerary was rich. Although the time was a bit tight, we could still experience the characteristics of each attraction. It is a highly recommended activity.

Our tour guide, Yasushi, was extremely knowledgeable during our tour. He provided various details throughout the tour to make it very unique.

Lee was a fantastic guide and gave us very relevant and interesting insight into Japanese culture and traditions. He knew his way around each site and it was clear the locals were familiar with him as well. He also gave excellent food recommendations for Kanazawa and other parts of Japan! Wear boots with good traction if going in the winter!

If you have time do the full day tour! Tour from Kanazawa to Shirakawa Go,a winter wonderland with lots of snow and amazing historical A frame houses. Than back to Kanazawa to see the beautiful Kenroku gardens and finished in Higashi Chaya district( Geisha district ). Painted a daruma doll and made a gold leaf post card. our guide was the wonderful Yusushi he was so knowledgeable and friendly. His local and historical knowledge was fantastic. highly recommend this tour.

we joined the tour on valentines day, the guide and the driver were both super helpful and willing to share about places and what to know. we were a small group of 12 people of different mix, and we stayed at kanazawa for the night, and this itinery made the trip at ease without rushing. i would recommend to friends who are interested to go on a short tour from nagoya. thank you to our guide and driver!

This two-day and one-night trip to Kanazawa and Shirakawa-go was quite tight but enjoyable. We visited the famous Kenrokuen Garden and Kanazawa Castle in Kanazawa and enjoyed the local cuisine. In Shirakawa-go, we admired the spectacular Gassho-style villages and experienced the local culture. Overall, I was very satisfied with this two-day and one-night trip to Kanazawa and Shirakawa-go. The professionalism and enthusiasm of the tour guide, the comfortable transportation, the rich itinerary and the enjoyment of delicious food made this trip an unforgettable memory. The tour time was planned smoothly and the kaku tour guide had the ability to respond immediately. This trip was a great experience. Kanazawa Hotel is very big and the accommodation and rest are great.
