Things to do in Chakran Sauna

During this trip to Kanchanaburi, our professional tour guide Cindy told us the history of World War II, led us to walk on the scenic Skywalk, ride the Death Railway train, have lunch at a rural cafe, take a boat across the Kwai River, eat authentic desserts, and finally walk on the streets to visit traditional buildings and eat buns. We really enjoyed the tour from start to finish! The experience was fun, exciting, and well-organized. A big shoutout to our tour guide (PP2 not sure with the spelling 😬)—she was amazing! So good and genuinely funny, she kept the whole group entertained the entire time. There wasn’t a single dull moment throughout the trip. Definitely one for the books!

I joined the Ayutthaya tour based on a friend's recommendation. We left the meeting point at 8 am and returned to Bangkok after 5 pm. On the way there, the guide collected the entrance fee of 270 baht in cash on the bus, so I recommend that you prepare it in advance. The old Buddhist ruins of Ayutthaya were really amazing, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in history or ruins. I joined the tour alone, but I was thankful that the guide 'Number 2' took care of me so that I didn't get bored even though I was alone. I was the only Korean on the tour, so I was a bit embarrassed and shy at first, but thanks to him, I was able to have fun. I thought it would be hard to take pictures because I was alone, but the guide took many pretty pictures at photogenic spots. I got a lot of great shots! The weather was very hot, so I got tired as I walked a lot, but the guide 'Number 2' led me energetically until the end, so I was able to finish the tour in a good mood. I highly recommend everyone to set aside 3 hours to come to Homies for an amazing cooking experience. Pat was simply amazing and she made the entire experience super fun and easy. We made 4 dishes in 3 hours (Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai, Papaya salad and mango sticky rice) . They were all delicious! The place is very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back again to whip up other dishes if possible. Thank you Pat! 😊
