Things to do in Batu Caves

I recently booked the Batu Caves and Genting Highlands day trip through Klook, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The day began with a visit to **Batu Caves**, an awe-inspiring cultural and spiritual site. The golden Lord Murugan statue is breathtaking, and climbing the 272 colorful steps to the limestone caves was an adventure in itself. Inside, the caves were serene and beautifully adorned with Hindu shrines. Our guide shared fascinating details about the history and significance of the site, making the visit even more meaningful. Afterward, we headed to **Genting Highlands**, a completely different experience from Batu Caves. The **cable car ride** to the highlands was a highlight, offering stunning views of the lush rainforest below. Once at the top, there was plenty to explore, including the **Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park**, high-end shopping outlets, and delicious dining options. The cool mountain air was a refreshing escape from the city heat. The tour was well-organized, with enough time allocated at each stop. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring we didn’t miss any key attractions. The convenience of booking through Klook made everything hassle-free, from transportation to clear instructions for the itinerary. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a mix of cultural exploration and modern entertainment. It’s a perfect day out for families, couples, and even solo travelers!

Our tour guide was informative and funny. We visited the places in the itinerary. He shared some history of Malaysia and recommended some local foods that we should try. It was a half day tour, he picked us up 8:15 in our hotel, and dropped us all off in Petronas around 1pm.

The group members who were traveling with us were a little nervous because they had not received the confirmation letter. Fortunately, they called the tour leader to explain clearly. The tour leader's explanations of the scenic spots were clear and easy to understand, and he answered questions enthusiastically. Going up and down the stairs has completed a day's exercise. I met many monkeys and pigeons and discovered the wonders of nature in the cave.

Mr. Dinesh was a great! I have motion sickness but his driving is smooth. He’s a driver and a tour guide at the same time. Learned a lot from him about Malaysia’s history.
