Halong Bay was special because of the sunset cruise and this is something not to miss when in Vietnam. Highly recommended especially having Ken as our tour guide. If you could pick him, let the tour operator know.

Awesome itinerary. You don’t have to be bored staying on the ship. There are many activities to participate in. The service staff on the ship are also very nice.

Booked route 1 but it was canceled hence they informed us that we can opt to join route 2. It was a pleasant experience! I came with my parents who are both senior citizens, my sister, and a toddler. We managed to climb all the stairs and enjoy the amazing cave (which is the highlight of the trip). The food is simple but hearty. The boat ride is comfortable and the scenery, especially during sunset, is really breathtaking! Well-recommended despite it being touristy. You just have to enjoy each moment 😊
