Peter Xu was my tour guide during this join in trip. Tried his best to explain everything he know about Alishan and the history. He follow the itinerary strict even though it was a raining day. Travel from top to bottom was a good experience as we do not need to hike up the stairs but to go down from the top. Peter is also a friendly and helpful tour, he is good at taking photo too. Definitely recommend this guide to the others if they plan to go for a day trip! Tour guide Xu led the team very seriously, took great photos, and gave detailed explanations. It was very relaxing and enjoyable along the way. Although the weather was not good, we still visited all the places included in the trip and benefited a lot. Recommended!

Very comfortable vehicle but it was pouring when we reached Alishan forest. Driver had prepared umbrella. Time for Fenqihu and lunch is a little tight and there could have been more guidance from the guide on how to get to the old street. But overall, driver was very professional and instructions on meeting time and place was clear at each stop.

First of all, when going to Alishan, be sure to prepare motion sickness medicine and take it in advance! I never get carsick, but there were 800 turns in Alishan that made me want to vomit. The day before the trip, the tour guide Guo En called me to ask if I was afraid of carsickness. Remember to prepare motion sickness medicine and an umbrella. I swore that I would I won’t get motion sickness. It’s too early to tell. There are 7 tourists in our group. Guoen arranged the trip perfectly. If I went by myself, I would definitely get lost in the mountains and not be able to see every landmark and scenic spot in Alishan in detail. With Guoen Tour Guide, we didn't miss a single one, and he explained the history and culture to us in detail, which was super professional. Moreover, the weather was beautiful. The sun was shining when we were in the mountains. The photos Guoen took for us were amazing. It started to rain when we went down the mountain. I have seen Alishan in both sunny and rainy days. It is really worth coming. , be sure to prepare motion sickness medicine and take it in advance (very important). Finally, I suggest giving a bonus to Guoen Tour Guide! He's awesome!

Finally, I walked into the Alishan in the textbook and realized a small wish. Due to time constraints, I signed up for a one-day tour group of Klook. The sightseeing tour made me not have too much expectation for this group! I was really lucky to meet the tour guide COOK WANG, a very professional and experienced tour guide. He is simply a multi-talented person. He can drive (in foggy conditions, he drives very steadily on mountain roads), explain (Cook not only has a deep understanding of the natural scenery and human history of Alishan, but his explanation is rich and interesting, and he can present the complex historical and cultural background in an easy-to-understand way), and take pictures (when he arrived at the check-in point, he would sacrifice his old waist to take pictures for us from multiple angles, and the pictures were super good). I strongly recommend friends from the mainland to sign up for Cook's group. Chinese people don't cheat Chinese people! ! !
