The service was very good, a very quiet place, the rooms were very clean, the bathrooms were equally clean even though they are shared, everything is individual.

The service is very good, the staff are very friendly, the environment is very clean, and the stay is comfortable. I came here 10 years ago, and I really miss the food. But this time, I think it was better than last time. I don’t know if I have an illusion. 😆Overall, great and relaxing!

amazing stay here at the Kyoritsu onsen resort. everything was so clean and neat - you aren’t allowed to wear shoes inside and there are 5 private onsens open 24/7 as well as the public baths. it’s super pretty but the location is pretty far from restaurants and cafes but very close to the train! there’s free ramen every night and also their kaiseiki dinner changes everyday!

this is probably my favorite hotel from my travel to Japan. spacious and clean room. I fully understand some reviews that describe it as creepy as the design gives off this vibe and you can’t leave the room unless you call reception but I liked the vibe. the reception lady was extremely kind. she made me a nice breakfast and dropped me at the bus station. I will definitely book this hotel if I ever visit Arashiyama again.

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST HOTEL WE HAD AND WE WILL SURELY COMEBACK FOR ANOTHER WEEK VACATION HERE. I love the place, food,kimonos and all the amenities they have.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND IT IS ADULT ONLY! It really seems that alot of others may not understood that. But anyways I had an amazing stay here personally from the yummy breakfast sandwiches served to getting rides to the near by places you need to go (train/bus stations, yummy sushi restaurants, monkey park..etc), keep in mind you will be walking back though which wasn’t bad for me but I could see others not caring for that since the walk was typically 20+ minutes from the train station. I would highly recommend keeping the air purifier ON (dust etc). But nice sized room for a nice price! My favorite part was the shower/ deep bath mixed with onsen salt mix they provide. Also loved the cloud sky ceiling!! Definitely would stay there again if I’m looking for something roomy but more affordable with nice perks. Although If you’re looking for a more modern updated spot this may not be the place for you. Customer service was just outstanding in my opinion.

I wanted to experience a Ryokan visit as a part of my trip to Japan and this was an excellent choice. The room was clean and spacious with excellent facilities and the Onsen at the hotel was amazing.
