The scenery is great. The pool is very big and the service staff are nice. It’s just that parking spaces are hard to find. It’s a good and affordable place to take a bath in the cold weather.

I made a reservation on the morning of the same day and used it on the same day. When I arrived, I showed my reservation code and chose a room to go in. I arrived around 10:30 on a weekday morning and was able to get in right away. There were many rooms left, so I went to the room I wanted. I wanted a cold bath, so I chose a room with a cold bath. The hot spring water seems good!! There were 4 bottles of water (2 bottles of drinking water and 2 bottles of water to brush my teeth) and everything except a toothbrush.

The bathing space is large and comfortable. The windows can be opened to enjoy the mountain view and the cool breeze blowing in is super chill. You can come back when the weather is cold!

Place: For me, the place is a paradise but it's a diamond in the rough. It shows its age and you can tell it isn’t being maintained. Despite that, I find that it’s still such a beautiful spot to visit when in Wulai. It’s tranquil and serene. If you’re considering visiting, I’d suggest taking it for what it is and know that it’s an old, old location and just enjoy the peace and uniqueness of it all, regardless of its wear and tear.
The cable car in itself is a short sweet ride and not that scary. It goes right on top of the falls and you can see Wulai from the top.
Redemption process: I booked the ticket on the day itself and is easy to redeem. You just need to present the ticket when in line for the cable car.

Love the short ride. Didn’t imagine the train was so small. What a great opportunity to experience how loggers back in those days traveled up and down the hill to transport the woods!
