The guide & driver were very kind & great! The bus was a large, new model and very comfortable. I highly recommend the Alps train! The lake was frozen, but the view of the snow-covered mountains was a work of art.

Very convenient. Go to Exit 4 as soon as you exit the first terminal. Go out and wait for the bus at the bus stop. There is a direct bus to the Milan train station about every half hour. You don’t have to drag your luggage up and down the subway. The journey takes about an hour. , big push.

Purchase the Milan Airport bus transfer through klook in advance. It is very convenient to take the bus next to Milan Station. It takes about 1 hour to arrive at Milan Airport!

Thanks to our guide Monica, we were able to have a comfortable trip. Monica is the best!! The schedule changed from Lake Lugano to Bellagio, but the travel agency gave us sufficient explanation and agreement in advance via WhatsApp, and the vehicle was a large vehicle and very comfortable. Even in December, the lake was not frozen at all and was very nice.

As you participate, you'll become part of a living history that adds a touch of whimsy to your exploration of this iconic landmark.

Cultural and Historical Significance

Named after Victor Emmanuel II, the first king of the Kingdom of Italy, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is a symbol of Italian unity and architectural prowess. Built between 1865 and 1877, it stands as a testament to Milan's rich history and cultural heritage. Its strategic location between il Duomo and Teatro alla Scala makes it a central hub for both locals and tourists. Since its opening, the Galleria has been a cultural hub, with venues like the iconic Bocca art bookstore, a significant presence in Milan since the nineteenth century.

Architectural Marvel

The Galleria's iron-and-glass roof is a masterpiece of engineering, featuring four barrel vaults and a grand dome. This visionary steel and glass canopy has inspired similar constructions worldwide, including the Galleria Umberto I in Naples and the Toronto Eaton Centre. The design, featuring two arcades shaped like a Latin cross, is a stunning example of 19th-century architecture. The glass and iron dome is a highlight, offering a breathtaking view that captures the essence of Milanese elegance.

Tradition and Superstition

Engage in the local tradition of spinning on the bull mosaic for good luck, a practice that has become a beloved ritual for visitors. This charming superstition adds a touch of whimsy to your visit, making it a memorable experience.

Unique Signage

All businesses within the Galleria are required to use retro gold lettering on a black background for their signs, maintaining the original design aesthetic. This unique signage adds to the Galleria's timeless charm and elegance, creating a cohesive and visually appealing environment.
