Tsurugaoka Hachimangu tours

The tour was great! I really enjoyed both the location as well as the tour. Definitely recommended. Our tour guide was very good and able to guide and joke around in both Chinese and English and Japanese. so cool!

This trip is more like a self guided tour where you are getting the pickup and drop facility from Tokyo. I was alone and was tagged along with a Chinese speaking group despite selecting the English specific group. The only way I could communicate with the driver/host was with the Google translator. he- Min, was a really nice chap and tried his best to help me was lucky that one of my co-passenger could speak English as well if you have one day and want to visit, Kamakura and enoshima, this trip is a good option. However, I feel that enoshima island itself could take one whole day. I will plan for a day trip only to enoshima my next time as it is a very cute place.

I think the tour guide has a very hard job! She leads more than 30 people alone. The weather is hot and everyone is easily irritable. The tour guide also has to calm down the irritable guests:). My sister and I looked at them and shook our heads and said that we can’t do this job:). I accidentally left something on the bus, and the tour guide also helped me find it and put it away. I am really grateful. I give Teacher Anna a five-star praise! !

The pick-up was on time, the service was in place, the vehicle was clean, the recommended attractions were the best routes, and there was plenty of time.

Guide (AXXA) was mainly promoting her own country (talking about how her country is better than Japan etc.) instead of talking about Japan. Felt like it wasn’t a guide for Enoshima, Japan. Overall it was ok but felt it could have been better if it was a different guide.

Our tour guide Yumiko-san from 888tour is very nice and thoughtful. She has provided different options and advices for us to make sure our tour is going to be smooth. We have better understand the culture of Kamakura thanks to Yumiko-san’s detailed introduction. She helped us to take photos and introduced lots of stories of Kamakura to us. I definitely recommend this tour;)

We had a great time at Kamakura and Enoshima. Edward was a friendly and knowledgeable guide. He explained the culture and history during the trip. He even told us a place where able to have a bird’s view of Tokyo for free.
