Hotels near Dadaocheng Pier Plaza

For 2,000 pesos per night, we were able to get a spacious room with bed, sofa, kitchen sink. the hotel is situated in right in the Ximending walking district in front of Amba hotel so it’s very convenient.

Our stay at Star Ximen was fantastic! The location was perfect, just a short walk from Ximending's shops and nightlife. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We’d definitely stay here again on our next visit to Taipei!

Location is very accessible since it is close to the Taipei Main Station. Very accommodating front desk. Definitely recommended.

Sorry for late review.😅 We stayed there last Feb19-Feb21. We arrived at the hotel around 2am. So, We are late check-in. Front desk is limited hours only. You must inform the hotel that you will arrive late so that they will email the procedures on how to get to your room. the location of the hotel is very safe. there is a 7eleven in the building. the room was clean. Good experience for a budget hotel.

There are Ningxia Night Market and Carrefour nearby, where you can go shopping or eat local food. The accommodation environment and facilities are also very good. There is also a parking lot available, and you can even have a chance to upgrade your room. I am very grateful for the thoughtful service of the hotel staff. I will still choose this hotel as my first choice in the future.

The hotel is located on Chongqing North Road, close to Dihua Street, Ningxia Night Market, Zhongshan Business District and Beijing Railway Station, all of which are within a 5-15 minute walk. There are also Carrefour and Ubike Station opposite, which is very convenient for tourists, especially foreign tourists. The location is good, but the room is a bit old. The bedside tables, walls, and air-conditioning vents are all moldy and stained. The bed is hard and the bed board must be broken. The slightest movement will make a wooden sound. The only place I think is not tidy is the bathroom. There are water marks and dust. This part needs to be improved. Overall it is OK and it is enough for one stay.
