1. Tom Yum Mac & Cheese
Having creamy foods can be slightly cloying and there’s no better way to break up the heaviness of the cream than to add some spice and sourness to balance out the dish! 7-Eleven sells ready to eat mac and cheese, all you need to do is pop into the microwave.
But here’s the trick, get a pack of Tom Yum flavored instant noodles and take the flavouring packet and squeeze it onto your mac and cheese.
Microwave it for half the time instructed, stir the paste into the sauce and continue microwaving. You’ll thank us later.
2. Mala Chicken Rice Ball
Mala is the new food trend everyone can’t get enough of. If you’re a fan of spice this Mala rice ball will definitely hit the spot. Grab a pack of Mala Fried Chicken Skin and an onigiri rice ball of your choice.
Crush the fried chicken skin till you get a consistency of breadcrumbs and coat your rice ball generously with the crumbs. Heat up a pan of oil and deep fry it till it turns golden brown.
3. Brownie with ice cream
Got serious sweet cravings and just want a quick fix? Heat up a pack of these 2 bite brownies and top it off with some ice cream. Simple and fuss-free but will definitely sweeten up your day.
4. Spicy noodle carbonara
Can’t handle the full intensity of the Korean Samyang spicy noodles? Our hack is to neutralize it with some milk and cheese! After cooking your noodles, pour in your seasoning packets and add in half a cup of milk as well as some cheese while the noodles are still hot.

After watching all those K-dramas, if that has got you craving for Rabokki, here’s how to make your own. For the uninitiated, Rabokki is a famous after school snack combining the best of ramen and tteokbokki! Cook your instant tteokbokki and add in the cooked noodles from your instant ramen packet. Top it off with some grilled scallop bites for extra flavour!
7. Instant hotpot
One of our favourite hotpot ingredients is the beancurd ring rolls! Thankfully, now you can get mini packets of those at 7-Eleven! Just grab your favourite instant noodles and add those ring rolls in. If you’re feeling extra hungry, grab some luncheon meat and instant sausages for a full meal.
8. Overnight Oats
It’s hard not to love the convenience of overnight oats! Prepare your breakfast before sleeping and you’ll wake up to a hearty satisfying breakfast. Just put some instant oatmeal, a splash of milk and some yogurt into a jar overnight and let them soften while you sleep.
Use a 2:1 ratio of liquid to oats when making overnight oats to achieve a spoonable, porridge-like consistency. Top it off with your favourite fruit and nuts!
9. Fried cheese sticks
Fried cheese sticks, honestly who can say no to that! Crush up a couple of Doritos chips and set them aside for your coating. Take the smoked cheese and dip them in a small bowl of egg wash before coating them generously with the Doritos chips.
Fry these till they turn golden brown and you should have yourself crunchy on the outside and gooey on the inside cheese sticks!
