Bali COVID-19 Testing Requirements
Pre-Departure Planning
1. Ensure you are Eligible for the Quarantine-Free Travel to Bali
- You must be a holder of a Singapore Passport or one from the approved 60 countries
- You must have a return flight ticket
- You have to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with the complete dose administered at least 14 days before departure
2. Pre-Departure PCR Test No Longer Required
Starting 18 May, pre-departure testing is no longer required for fully-vaccinated travellers. That means your Bali trip is now cheaper and easier than before!
3. Optional Travel Insurance
Starting 8 June, mandatory travel insurance is no longer required. But we do recommend that you continue to purchase one for peace of mind. You can get the Chubb Travel Insurance on Klook that comes with a COVID-19 add-on coverage of up to S$150,000 for overseas hospitalisation and medical costs.
4. Download PeduliLindungi app & Complete profile
Before you fly to Bali, you will also need to download the PeduliLindungi mobile app designed by the Indonesian government for contact tracing purposes. This app is available for download on App Store or Google Play Store.
After downloading the app, you will then have to complete your profile within. You will be required to show it to the Health Officer at the airport upon arrival.
5. Book Accommodation
There is no longer a restriction on what type of accommodation you can stay at, so it's time to pick your favourite villa!
On Arrival in Bali
You are good to start your long-awaited Bali trip the moment you step out of the airport! This is because, since 5 April, Singaporeans can enjoy Visa-exemption entry for up to 30 days, and all travellers are no longer required to undergo any on-arrival COVID-19 testing.
Returning to Singapore
1. Complete SG Arrival Card
All travellers are required to complete the SG Arrival Card up to 72 hours before departure for Singapore. No testing is required under the existing Vaccinated Travel Framework.
VTL Flights to Bali
Starting 1 April, fully-vaccinated travellers may fly on any flight, and no longer be required to choose a designated flight back to Singapore. Therefore, you may take any flights including those offered by Jetstar Asia, KLM, Singapore Airlines, and Scoot.
