A trip to Langkawi wouldn't be complete without a visit to a cute beachfront cafe and one of our favourites would definitely be the Yellow Beach Cafe Langkawi. Located along Pantai Cenang, you can enjoy affordably priced local and western fare here such as pizza, chicken wings, satay, and more.

The cosy, vibrant space is complete with hip decor and a laid-back atmosphere, and you can opt to sit in the shade indoors or dine on plush beanbags and hammocks on the lounge facing the beach.

2. Hidden Langkawi

Hidden Langkawi is a super Instagrammable beachfront cafe and bar that serves up delicious western nosh! Enjoy a delightful array of pizza, pasta and snacks that will surely have you fuelled up for your next adventure. There is also a photo booth on the second floor of this eatery where you can snap some cute keepsakes with your pals - so don't miss that!

We tried the pesto pasta, mango and duck pizza and truffle fries and everything was super yummy! They also have a ton of drink options, including matcha from Niko Neko!

3. Tapaz Langkawi

Located at the colourful and quirky Tubotel Langkawi, Tapaz Langkawi is a restaurant that specialises in... you guessed it, tapas! Enjoy a late lunch or pre-dinner munchies while sipping on drinks, snacking on bites and taking in the sea view.

We tried the calamari, beef cheeks and patatas bravas and our favourite was the potatoes. There's a wide variety of tapas options available and we definitely recommend getting their soft and fluffy naan bread to complement your dishes!

4. The Loaf

There are a few outlets of The Loaf Langkawi around Langkawi, but we decided to go to the one at Perdana Quay. Situated along the sparkling marina with views of boats bobbing merrily against the emerald waters - how could we resist?

Since this cafe is also a bakery, you can expect freshly baked bread and an assortment of viennoiseries to pick from and we recommend coming here for a hearty brunch!

There is a good assortment on their menu and we went for their breakfast items that included a western-style farmer's omelette and local-style breakfast with soft-boiled eggs, thick toast and chicken curry. If you have enough stomach space, the creamy mushroom soup in a bread bowl makes for a great appetiser!

Nestled in a quiet and serene setting along Pantai Tengah, the FatCUPID Restaurant is a tranquil dining spot in Langkawi. From nyonya laksa to beef rendang, salmon fishcakes, steak sandwiches, and burgers, everything on the menu at FatCUPID is cooked with love and the freshest of ingredients. It's hard to categorize what cuisine they serve, you can literally get Peranakan, Chinese, Italian, or Australian food all cooked fresh from the same kitchen!
