Its name is “Sawyer,” the café’s robot barista that has one job: to make and to serve freshly-brewed coffee. 5. Pepper PARLOR
Powered by not just one but four robots by SoftBank Robotics, Pepper PARLOR is nestled at the bustling Tokyo Plaza Shibuya. The name of the café was derived not from the spices but from their semi-humanoid robot “Pepper.” The multilingual robot serves as the waiter, while Nao robots entertain customers with their dance moves. Machine-like Servi and Whiz are the ones tasked for delivering the orders and cleaning the café.

6. Hidakaya
Ramen chain Hidakaya will surprise their first-time customers not only because of the affordability of their delicious dishes but also because of their high-tech staff member: robot waiters! After selecting the food of your choice, your order will arrive at your table safe and fast -- thanks to the robot. Seemingly turning sci-fi movies into reality, food is also delivered by robots at Yakiniku King restaurant chain's Itabashi-Maenocho outlet in Tokyo. Their two SoftBank Robotics’ Servi delivery robots zoom across the floor of the grilled meat restaurant which can accommodate up to 156 customers.
