This tour has been exceptionally popular since its introduction, and so we gave it a shot on a sleepy Monday morning. Boy, did we have more fun than expected... Here’s why you should give it a shot too!
1. It’s an escape room experience the size of Chinatown
For fans of escape rooms, this Chinatown Murders Game Tour is definitely for you. There are a total of six stations where you will each have a mystery to solve to earn your next clue. These clues will eventually help to narrow down who the serial killer is.
To up the difficultly level, you’re given only 10 minutes at each stop to solve a puzzle. Don’t worry for you’re each given a lifeline that you can cash in for a hint or extra time.

2. Split into two teams for some friendly competition
The Chinatown Murders Game Tour is best played in two teams of two to five pax each. Why only play against the clock when you can get the adrenaline going by competing against each other? The additional rush will sure to help solve your puzzles faster.
We heard the record is currently held by a 15-year-old who took only two minutes to solve one of the puzzles! We dare you to beat that!

3. Go on an interactive journey around Chinatown with your guide
Don’t worry if you think you’ll be running around Chinatown like a headless chicken. Each tour will be led by a guide, who will also double up as the gamemaster. We first met up with Elaine, our guide for the day, at the Skybridge Garden above Chinatown MRT, where the introduction was given.
Thereafter, she dived right into character throughout the game, sharing more about her life growing up in Chinatown, the significance behind many landmarks, and even introducing some of her best friends to us. She also brought us through the alleys for some picturesque moments with the many murals around!

4. An activity perfect for all occasions
After having gone through the Chinatown Murders Game Tour, we must say it really is perfect for any occasion - be it a gathering among friends, a family outing or even a team bonding activity that isn’t the usual. Elaine even shared with us that some even use this tour as part of their bridal shower and to celebrate birthdays!
Each tour can take up to 10 pax split into two groups of five each. So you don’t even have to wait till Phase 3 to have your squad of eight participate in something together!
