“Definitely worth a try while you are in Singapore. It's a different experience. Suitable for those who like to do something different and adventurous. Aaron was very friendly and acted as a very helpful guide as well. You can tell that he's doing this from the heart. I didn't know how to fish and I caught close to 10 fish. Definitely recommended.”

Explore the nooks and crannies of (and off) Pulau Ubin
Other than Chek Jawa and going on a cycling trip around Pulau Ubin, try your hands at exploring the lush mangroves with a nature kayaking tour and let the experienced guide take you along this Singaporean wilderness that's rarely seen due to its relative inaccessibility. Keep your eyes peeled as the mangroves are home to wildlife like kingfishers, hornbills, and otters.
“Our guide, Calvin, was fun and knowledgeable on the mangrove swamp and the importance of preserving these resilient trees that are able to withstand the cold, heat, and saltwater. We were also able to borrow water shoes from them which was great! Overall recommend this experience.”

Did you know that there is a small island just off the southern tip of Pulau Ubin and its name is Pulau Ketam? You can now go on an open sea kayaking journey to get up close to the mangrove habitat and be rewarded with its natural sightings. And since you are out in the open waters, you might even spot the occasional water monitor lizards, otters swimming by, and some have even spotted dolphins! It may sound like a challenging task, but don’t worry as no prerequisites are required for this adventure.
“Amazing experience! The water was calm and enjoyable despite the hot weather. Our instructor Alvin made our journey super fun and safe. Definitely coming back to try another route!”

See an exotic side of Singapore with these kayaking adventures
Explore rarely-seen nature spots along Singapore’s coast with this exotic guided kayak tour. Each session is kept to a small group and your guide will bring you to otherwise unseen gems around Sembawang, Changi, and Pasir Ris. The kayaks can also take up to three pax, perfect for those with families. The best thing about this tour is that you’ll even get to refuel with a rustic hot meal during lunch before heading back.
Not too sure if your arms can take all the pedalling? Why not try a kayak that you can pedal with your leg instead? It’s almost like cycling on water we must say! You’ll start off your leg pedal kayak adventure at Sembawang Park before heading off to explore the mouth of Simpang River, and enter the mangroves of Khatib Bongsu. You’ll also get a glimpse of a local kelong and end your adventurous day at Seletar Island and a secret beach!
