What to Expect at Harry Potter: Visions of Magic in Singapore
Hey Potterheads - this one's for you. Harry Potter: Visions of Magic is finally here in Singapore (its very first venue in Asia!), and you are invited! So grab your wands and get ready - you're gonna need them as you explore some of the wizarding world's most mysterious corners.
The Klook team got a sneak peek of the experience ahead of its grand opening, and we had so much fun - here's what you can expect!

What to Expect at Harry Potter: Visions of Magic
1. Explore ten interactive zones
Boasting 10 immersive and interactive zones from The Knight Bus to Knockturn Alley and more, Harry Potter: Visions of Magic is definitely an experience you don't want to miss. Psst... you will also get to enjoy two zones (The Chamber of Secrets and The Trap Door) which are exclusive to Singapore (lucky us!).
Before you enter:
Before you Slytherin to the exhibition, don't forget to get your special interactive wands from the staff. The special wands will allow you to interact with the traces of magic located all over the various interactive zones!
Here's a quick summary of the various interactive areas:
The Knight Bus
You will start by getting on board the iconic Knight Bus, the triple-decker bus that pulls up to Harry's rescue after he leaves Privet Drive.
Don't forget to grab a seat on one of the bunk beds - it's a bumpy ride! #KlookTip: Snap your pics on the Knight Bus quickly, the colourful lights and sound effects only happen once before everyone is ushered into Grimmauld Place.
Grimmauld Place
Welcome to Grimmauld Place, the ancestral home of the infamous Black family. Use your wands to explore the family tree, and interact with the framed photos on the walls!
Ministries of Magic
Explore the three Ministries of Magic here! Use your wands to interact with the different projections and be transported to the iconic wizarding ministries across Paris, London, and New York.
The Hall of Prophecy

Venture into the mysterious Hall of Prophecy filled with glowing orbs and use your wand to reveal your fate!
#KlookTip: This was one of the team's favourite areas - it's super IG-worthy and you'll be able to get super vibey magical photos too!
The Chamber of Secrets (Exclusive to Singapore)
✨ Team favourite ✨
You'll have to speak in Parseltongue to get into the next area - which is none other than the Chamber of Secrets! Use your wands to gain entry and you'll step into the sinister depths of Salazar Slytherin's secret underground lair.
Keep your eyes peeled, and wands at the ready! Who knows if you'll encounter the basilisk, or even interact with Tom Riddle's diary?
#KlookTip: This was one of the team's favourite areas too! Surrounded by towering snake statues and drenched in light projections that make you feel like you are really in the murky depths, you will feel like you're on the Chamber of Secrets movie set itself!
Newt’s Menagerie
Discover a world of fantastic beasts in one amazing suitcase at Newt's Menagerie! Dive into his notes and sketches to learn more about magical creatures from the adorable Niffler, to cunning Grindylows, mysterious Kelpies, and more!
Knockturn Alley
✨ Team favourite ✨
Meander through the twisted, cobblestone pathways of Knockturn Alley, where dark secrets await in every corner.
#KlookTip: Here's another of our team's favourite areas. Who else can say that they got to summon an image of the Dark Mark in the sky?
The Room of Requirement
Made to appear to those who need it the most, it's not surprising that The Room of Requirement is chock-full of undiscovered treasures. Use your wand to see if you can find them!
The Trap Door (Exclusive to Singapore)
Next, you'll come face to face with the challenges that the trio faced to get to the Philosopher's Stone.
From the ferocious three-headed Fluffy guarding the trapdoor to Devil's Snare and the room of winged keys - make sure to use your wand to guide you every step of the way!
The Pensieve
✨ Team favourite ✨
Enter into the milky swirls of The Pensieve and enjoy the last zone of the exhibition. This 360-degree immersive experience offers a surreal journey through key moments from Harry's story.
#KlookTip: The final set of the entire experience hands down made it to the team's list of favourites. Watch the spectacular projections till the end and you'll agree with us too!
2. Enjoy Butterbeer and sweet treats
Famished after your magical adventure? The Butterbeer kiosk - located at the end of your experience - is here to save the day! Conjure up a frosty mug of Butterbeer and enjoy that with a couple of scrummy sweet treats that are honestly, just too cute to eat.
Just look at those House-themed cupcakes and adorable Hedwig and Niffler macarons!
3. Get your hands on exclusive merchandise
What is a Harry Potter-themed experience without merch? Cap off your adventure with a visit to the retail shop and snag exclusive Harry Potter: Visions of Magic merchandise. From themed stationery to tees, cute plushies, scarves and sweaters in the iconic House colours - there's something for every Potter fan here!
Buy a photo souvenir
If you were lost in the experience and didn't get to snap as many pics as you wanted, worry not! You can also get HD photos in various backdrops (taken at the front, before you enter the experience) here at the self-service machine. Scan the QR code on the card you were given and you can download your photos and videos in a jiffy.
