Marina Bay Sands Staycation Review
The Marina Bay Sands hotel is no stranger to us all. The building is one of Singapore’s most iconic architectural feats and has been featured in many blockbuster films. There’s plenty to see and do from a visit to the ArtScience Museum, a dip in their infinity pool and of course all the shopping and dining at the mall.
Here’s what you can expect on your stay:

Marina Bay Sands Deluxe Room
There are 2 types of deluxe rooms offered in the Klook packages. The Deluxe Garden View room comes with a stunning view of the Gardens by the Bay Supertrees while the City view room overlooks the Floating Platform.
The rooms are pretty spacious, with a work desk and a small living room for you to relax at. Each room comes with selected free mini bar items for you to grab a quick snack as well as a Nespresso machine for your caffeine needs.
There’s a balcony with an outdoor sofa set that lets you sit down with a drink in hand to catch the evening light show at the Gardens (for Garden View rooms).
Marina Bay Sands Infinity Pool
If there’s just 1 reason people head for a staycation at Marina Bay Sands, it’s definitely the infinity pool. At 151 Metres long, this is the world’s largest rooftop pool, not to mention one of the best places to catch the Singapore Skyline in all its glory! Due to social distancing restrictions, the infinity pool has been segmented into three sections, with crossing over between pools prohibited.
The pool is open from 6.30 a.m till midnight and each guest at MBS is entitled to a one-hour pool slot per day (i.e two slots over a one night stay)
#Klooktip: Book the 1830-1930 hours slot for the best views coupled with the transition from day to night.
Sands Skypark Observation Deck
The Sands Skypark Observation Deck is located on the 57th floor and that only means one thing - insane views!
From above, try your hand at spotting Singapore’s iconic landmarks. Look out for the capsules on the Singapore Flyer and the durian-shaped domes of the Esplanade – or the Merlion statue.
Sustainability & Art Tour
Marina Bay Sands is also known for its many sustainable features around. The Sustainability and Art Tour takes you around the buildings’ many features like the RISE Herb Garden where over 70 edible plants are specially grown, nurtured, and harvested for your dinner plates.
The Rain Oculus, by Ned Kahn, collects and recycles rainwater which is used to fill the canal at The Shoppes and for bathroom flushing at the ArtScience Museum.
Dining at Marina Bay Sands
Breakfast is served at Spago, RISE or in your room! They’ve got a huge spread from American to Asian and the usual Continental items like pastries, cheeses and salads. Due to the safe distancing measures, breakfast will be served to your tables upon placing your order.
Looking to treat yourself to something fancy? Head to db Bistro & Oyster Bar for some freshly shucked oysters and lobster tails.
