Gal Gadot returns as Wonder Woman after her first appearance in 2017. This movie is set in the 1980s and will see Wonder Woman face two all-new enemies - Max Lord and The Cheetah.

2. Disney and Pixar’s Soul
In what is Disney/Pixar's exploration of the afterlife, Soul, well literally, follows the journey of Joe Gardner and his soul after he gets into an accident. His soul is transported to the You Seminar, a center where souls develop and gain passions before being transported to a newborn child. Joe must enlist help from the other souls in training, like 22, a soul who has spent eons in the You Seminar, in order to return to Earth.
Sounds like I'll be bringing a packet of tissues along. I suggest you do the same!

3. The Croods: A New Age
Seven years since the premiere of the animated film, The Croods, its much-awaited sequel is finally in theatres. The film follows the titular prehistoric family, The Croods, as they adapt to their new environment and new neighbours, the Bettermans, who seem to be higher up on the evolution ladder.
I guess the only traveling I'll be doing this year is traveling back in time.

4. Shock Wave 2
As far as ending the year with a bang goes, this movie has got you covered, and then some. The sequel to 2017's Shock Wave, written and directed by Herman Yau, Andy Lau is back to provide some heart-stopping action sequences, nail-biting bomb disposal scenes and plot twists, many twists.

5. Tiong Bahru Social Club
Did anyone order some Singaporean Indie because we're picking up a lot of Wes Anderson vibes from this light-hearted satire from director Tan Bee Thiam! A juxtaposition of old and new, the story of Tiong Bahru Social Club warns about the dangers of integrating artificial intelligence into our lives while paying tribute to historic Singaporean districts at the same time.
We feel this is very Singaporean, very good, kill two birds with one stone!

6. Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie-Mugen Train
The follow-up to 2019's hit anime series, Demon Slayer, this movie continues the Journey of Tanjiro and his fellow teammates from the Demon Slayer Corps as they embark on a mission to save the Mugen Train from an impending disaster.
Tears were shed, hearts were warmed and box offices around the world were broken. If that's any indication to catch this film, it's definitely a must.

A movie about hope, surviving, and healing, both within its plot and production. Violet Evergarden: The Movie was in production when the devastating attack on Kyoto Animation studios happened.
As the studio's staff resolved to push this movie out, it draws a parallel to the movie's main character, Violet Evergarden who was raised as an emotionless killing machine and found refuge and love working as an Auto Memory Doll many years after the movie ended.
Besides it's touching storyline, this film offers some of the most realistic art work you can find in an animated movie!
