1. Southern Islands
Miss travelling? Hop onto a ferry from Marina South Pier and head to the Southern Islands for a day! The islands’ clear blue waters, lush green trees and fine white sands will greet you with open arms.
Find a shady spot under a tree by the beach and set up your picnic mat! If you prefer sitting on benches, when you alight from the ferry at St John’s Island, there are picnic tables under the trees all set up.
#Klooktip: Pack plenty of sunscreen and insect repellent
As there are no trash bins on Lazarus Island, you will need to bring a trash bag to collect all your rubbish and bring it back to St John’s Island for disposal.
If you're too lazy to pack your own picnic basket for the islands, we’ve got you covered. Add on a Bearded Bella picnic basket when you book your Southern Island ferry tickets on Klook. The picnic basket comes with both sweet and savoury options for you to munch on - from Lotus Root chips to Brownies and even Quiches. It also comes with a small picnic mat and thirst-quenching lemonades.
2. East Coast Park
East Coast Park is a go-to for the easties! Whether you’re headed there with the family to cycle or rollerblade or just simply kick back on the beach, there’s plenty of spots for you to lay down your mats. In particular, the quiet beach beside the Bougainvillea Garden is perfect for a leisurely picnic.
3. Marina Barrage

Marina Barrage is definitely one of the most popular places to picnic and it’s not hard to see why. From the roof, you can enjoy stunning views of Marina Bay Sands, the Singapore Flyer and more. Pack a kite and come at dusk to enjoy the sunset before Singapore’s night skyscape takes over.
4. Punggol Waterway Park

Punggol Waterway Park is a green oasis sitting above the waterway. Plop yourselves down on the mat in front of the waterfront at the Nature Cove Gardens to enjoy your meal! After that, head on a walk along the Sunrise Bridge or the Heritage Zone to digest.
5. Botanic Gardens
There are plenty of picnic worthy spots in Botanic Gardens - from the Palm Valley to the lawns near Eco Lake and of course the Frangipani Garden and Tembusu Heritage Tree!
P.S. The most strategic spot is near the Orchid Garden and Eco Lake for its proximity to the toilet.
6. Gardens by the Bay East

With glorious views of the Marina Bay skyline, the Bay East Garden offers one of the best spots in the city. There are plenty of other people jogging and cycling on the pathway and the promenade lawn is great for kite-flying or letting the fur babies run free!
#klooktip: Sit by the bank facing Marina Bay for the best views
P.s. While you're around the area, drop by Gardens by the Bay to check out their latest flower showcases at the Flower Dome, or explore the Cloud Forest!
🇸🇬 Planning to check out multiple attractions on our sunny island?
😍 You might want to consider getting a Klook Singapore Pass, which offers savings of up to 50% off! Some attractions included in the pass are Universal Studios Singapore, Wings of Time, Singapore Skyline Luge, Gardens by the Bay and more!
7. Henderson Waves

The Henderson Waves Bridge has a stunning view of the Southern Ridges and the lush greenery surrounding it. The spacious coves and elevated boards on the bridge make it perfect for just hanging out with your loved ones. Pack your picnic baskets and a couple of board games!
8. Fort Canning Park

Fort Canning Park is an iconic treetop landmark that is rich in Singapore history. Today, there are 9 historical gardens in the park and plenty of trails to explore. There is plenty of space on the hill for your picnics and if you’re bringing the little ones, they can exhaust themselves running up and down the hilly terrain.
9. Sentosa Beach

Sentosa has plenty of beaches along the pristine coastline for you to picnic at. Pick a shady spot under the palm trees or head there at dusk to avoid the sun. Our favourite is Tanjong Beach for its clear waters!
If you’re up for some water activities after your picnic, head to Ola Beach Club and try out Stand Up Paddle Boarding or Kayaking!
10. Jurong Hill Park

Westies, this one's for you! Located next to Jurong Bird Park lies the entrance to Jurong Hill Park, While it used to be the highest point in Jurong, the park still boasts a panoramic view and it gets even better if you climb up the iconic spiral lookout tower.
Did we also mention that foreign dignitaries and heads of state (including Queen Elizabeth II) were invited to plant trees at Jurong Hill Park’s Garden of Fame?! Now, this is one famous picnic location you won't want to miss!
If the weather's just too hot for a picnic, there's a certain place in Jurong where you can definitely cool down!
