Bintan Travel Requirements
Fully-vaccinated Singaporeans can now travel to Bintan quarantine-free! Starting 18 May 2022, fully-vaccinated travellers from Singapore to Indonesia are no longer required to undergo any COVID-19 test!
Pre-Departure to Bintan requirements:
- Vaccination certificate indicating you are fully vaccinated with approved vaccines
- Travel insurance with a minimum of S$30K COVID-19 coverage
- Download the PeduliLindungi app and register plus complete the Traveler Health Quarantine Application Form before arriving at Bintan Ferry Terminal.
- Have a return ticket to Singapore
Singapore citizens and those from ASEAN countries will not be required to apply for a Visa to enter Bintan. Visa On Arrival is available for visitors from 51 other countries the moment you arrive at the Bintan Ferry Terminal.

Returning back to Singapore requirements:
There are no further testing requirements to return back to Singapore under the current Vaccinated Travel Framework. You will, however, be required to complete the SG Arrival Card up to 72 hours before departure for Singapore.
How to go to Bintan?
The fastest and most common way to travel to Bintan is via ferry. Duration-wise, it'll take about an hour to reach, so just sit back and enjoy the ride!

Water Activities
The highlight of Chill Cove is definitely the Crystal Lagoon! Southeast Asia’s first man-made seawater lagoon, this glistening blue pool is about the size of 50 Olympic pools! Here are some activities you can try out:
Kayaking
Do you know what’s better than Kayaking? Kayaking on a transparent kayak! Not only is it extremely photo-worthy, but looking down into the blue waters just makes it that much more magical.
P.S. Come at sunset for the perfect crimson gradient backdrop.
Slip n Slide
If you love waterslides, we say go straight for the red-colored slide over at Slip n Slide! If you need to ease into it, the sequence to try out the slides is green, yellow then red.
Cable Ski and Cable Tube
Try out wakeboarding or Cable Skiing at Chill Cove! This state-of-the-art wake park has friendly and experienced instructors who are always ready to share their tips. Whether you’re a first-timer or a pro, you don’t have to worry about getting wiped out and washed out to sea.
Bragging rights if you manage to stand up!
Still want to experience the thrill of getting whizzed around but not up for cable skiing just yet? Cable Tubing is equally as thrilling! Hang on tight as you zip across the waters, especially through the turns or risk getting thrown off into the water.
Laze on a float
The best part about being on vacation is the fact that you can just laze around and do nothing! Hop onto a giant inflatable and just float your day away - these mega unicorns can fit the whole gang, bonus points for looking great in photos.

ATV Off-Road Trail
Speed through the twists and turns of the off-road trail on an ATV and get ready to get muddy! Don’t worry about not having a driver's license, you won’t need one to drive these bad boys around. You will get to do a few practice rounds around their track before heading into the off-road trail and there will be a guide taking you through so you won’t have to worry about getting lost or being stuck.

After the sunsets and it’s time to unwind, recreate the scene from Disney’s Tangled! Write down your hopes and dreams (good health is always a priority) and release it into the skies.

Put on your farmer hats and ready to explore the Treasure Bay Organic Farm! Home to rows of fresh produce which are used in your meals, you will get to try your hand at planting some veggies on your visit. Afterwhich, you’ll be rewarded with a tea appreciation session - our favourite is the Blue Pea!

Stairway to Heaven
You’ll find a staircase leading to the skies right behind the Slip n Slide and that’s where you can get the picture-perfect shot of your head in the clouds, literally! This stairway to heaven photo spot is a must before you leave Treasure Bay.
Walking on Water
Trick your followers into thinking you can walk on water! This transparent platform in the middle of the Crystal Lagoon is extremely photo-worthy. Prepare your best runway walk and get ready to strut your stuff.
Beach Huts
You’ll find these tiny straw hut umbrellas at the same area you get geared up for Cable Skiing! While you’re waiting for your turn or just taking a break to dry off after, snap a photo under the sun chairs.
