Best ice creams in Singapore
I scream, you scream, we all scream for Kaya Toast ice cream?! Bringing you the best of both worlds, these ice cream flavours will let you have your cake and eat it too. Who says you can only have Nasi Lemak hot?
Weird but wacky, we think these ice cream flavours are definitely worth a try to see what the hype is all about.
Do note that these flavours might be seasonal so be sure to check with the store before heading down.
1. Kaya Toast @ Ya Kun
Some of us can’t start our mornings without some good ol’ Kaya Toast and of course the much-needed caffeine fix in the form of a cup of Kopi or Teh. What about Kaya Toast for dessert! The Singaporean breakfast favourite now comes in the gelato form and here’s what we think about it.
#Klooktried we’ve tried the Kaya Toast gelato and here is our verdict: The ice cream has a rich coconut and pandan flavour however we felt that the toast element was missing. Perhaps you’ll need to pair this with a slice of toast of your own! Ice cream sandwich anyone?
Prefer having your Kaya Toast in its original form? Feast on the breakfast staple at Ya Kun!
