Step 1: Go to the Universal Studios Japan Studio Pass product page on Klook
You can type in 'Universal Studios Japan' into the search bar on the Klook website or mobile app. Alternatively, you can find the Universal Studios Japan product page by going to Explore Destinations > East Asia > Japan > Osaka Prefecture.
Step 2: Check the calendar for the date you’re visiting
There are four types of USJ Studio Passes available on Klook - A, B, C & D - each representing different seasonalities with a corresponding selling price. Make sure to check the actual price calendar on the official website to check which type of pass you should get!
Which Universal Studios Japan ticket should I buy?
Look for the date you’re visiting the theme park to determine which ticket category you need to purchase. For example, if you’re planning to visit on 23 Dec 2023, the calendar indicates ‘D’, hence you need to purchase ’1 Day Studio Pass D’ to enter the park on that day.
#KlookTip: If you purchase Universal Studios Japan tickets on Klook, the prices will automatically reflect the correct pass type required for the date you have selected. You can just select your chosen date without worrying about getting the correct type as it is automatically selected for you.
Where can I find the Universal Studios Japan Studio Pass price calendar?
You can easily find the price calendar on the Klook activity page by scrolling down. You can also find the official price calendar on the Universal Studios Japan website. The price calendars are released up to 3 months in advance.
#KlookTip: We understand that your travel plans might change. Fret not, your USJ Studio Pass is valid for 90 days from the selected date of visit. You may use it for any dates displayed on the calendar corresponding with your pass type A/B/C/D.
Step 3: Select your tickets and add to cart
After determining which day you're visiting, you can now also decide what duration pass you want to get - 1 Day, 1.5 Days, or 2 Days. There are also two new special bundles:
- 1-Day Studio Pass + Early Entry (15-Minute Early Entry Pass)
- 1-Day Studio Pass + Super Nintendo World Area Timed Entry Ticket
#KlookTip: An Area Timed Entry Ticket is necessary to enter Super Nintendo World. You may get one after entering the park via the USJ App [Apple Store | Google Play] or at the Park Ticket kiosk at Central Park. It is also included in selected USJ Express Passes, read on for more details.
Now that you’ve already determined which ticket or bundle you want to purchase, select your ticket category, intended date of visit, and desired quantity then add to cart!
Step 4: Pay for your ticket
Proceed to make your payment once you’re satisfied with the list of items in your cart. There are several payment methods you can opt for namely via credit/debit card, GrabPay, and more.
Step 5: Enter Universal Studios Japan directly with your Klook e-ticket!
Upon successful payment, you will receive an email with your order summary (this is not the same as a booking confirmation). Once your booking has been confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email together with your e-ticket.
You can use the e-ticket on your Klook App or email to enter Universal Studios Japan directly. That means skipping the queues at the ticketing booth and having more time to explore this exciting theme park!
Maximise your time and budget at Universal Studios Japan with an Express Pass!
If you’re trying to hop on as many rides as possible when visiting the theme park, then you may want to consider getting a 1.5-Day or 2-Day Studio Pass. You can also opt to top up for an additional Express Pass to help you skip the queues!
Klook has two Express Pass options for you — the Universal Studios Japan Express Pass 4, which will allow you to skip the lines of up to four rides, and the Universal Studios Japan Express Pass 7, which will allow you to skip the lines of up to seven rides!

Which Universal Studios Japan Express Pass should I get?
There are different variations of the Universal Express Pass 4 and Universal Express Pass 7 that will bundle up different top rides and attractions together. Here are the different combinations you can choose from:

Common FAQs
Q: What if I can’t visit Universal Studios Japan on the date I chose?
A: That's okay! Just make sure to visit on any date that's specific to the price calendar of your purchased Studio Pass type. Your Studio Pass is valid for 3 months from your booking date.
Q: I don’t know which ticket category to purchase because the date I want to visit isn’t on the calendar.
A: If the dates that you’re planning to visit aren’t released yet, you can check back again another time. The Universal Studios Japan price calendar will be updated on the first day of every month.
Q: If I buy the most expensive ticket, can I use it on any day?
A: You may choose to visit the park only on days with the same price tier as your chosen package. So, even if you have the most expensive ticket (Studio Pass C), you still cannot visit the park on days under studio passes ‘A’ or ‘B’.
Q: How early should I reach Universal Studios Japan if I already bought my ticket?
A: It is recommended to be at Universal Studios Japan about 1.5-2 hours earlier to beat the queues!
