Things to do in Damnoen Saduak Floating Market

The tour was quite well planned, comfortable and the guide was very helpful. It was a good experience overall to visit the attractions like the floating market and the railway track market. Only thing is that there was one stop in between where there was hardly anything to do, so that seemed to be a little unwanted.

The itinerary is just right, the floating market is worth a try, the tour guide speaks both Chinese and English, there is no communication barrier, the journey is interesting, you must try it.

Tour was better than we thought. The tour drops you a bit of a distance away from the market and you get taken by boat to the market and then the bus picks you up. it’s enough time and the boat ride is fun. The train market is wacky and busy but worth it. Easy to get to, staff helpful and fun. Thanks Toni who was our guide.

Being a private tour was great because we could do sightseeing without worrying about time. There was no tour guide, but the driver told us about some great restaurants and took lots of photos for us, which was great! The shrimp we had at the shrimp center for lunch was really delicious, so if you go, I highly recommend you try it.

The itinerary is not too tight. The floating market is expensive and not worth buying, but it is worth experiencing. The railway market is cheap and fresh. The train is so close that it feels like it is passing by your face. It is very special.

If you don’t want to get up early in the morning, this is the best choice! Because we flew to Bangkok in the middle of the night, it would be too hard to get up at 7 or 8 in the morning. This group departs at 12 noon, so you can fully sleep before playing! Gather at the place opposite Gate 1 of Siam Paragon Shopping Mall. Get on the bus at the door and set off. The journey will take about 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the first attraction. We will visit four ancient temples during the whole journey. Each place has about 40 minutes to 1 hour to visit, which is enough. We will return around 5pm and arrive back in the city at around 6:30pm. We will also disband at Siam Paragon, so we can continue walking around the area after the show, or go to the night market or Chinatown, which is plenty of time. The tour guide Tom is very professional, but since all explanations have to be given once in Chinese and English, sometimes it feels a bit repetitive, but there is nothing you can do about it, after all, there are tourists from all countries.

The time arrangement is very good. You can experience the local area leisurely. The tour guide is also very attentive in explaining. It is a great trip and highly recommended.
