Funaya tours

An amazing amazing trip. Didn't expect my 10 & 15 years old will actually enjoyed themselves so much especially on the Funaya ferry. The eagles feeding part was most exciting part of the entire trip.

Lovely place with nice view! It is convenient to travel by klook coach, having two drop-off points also enables us to have a flexible tour plan. All spots, the park, the boat trip and the village, are all worth visiting. The tour guide can fluent speak Chinese, Japanese and Korean, yet he is not passionate and kind of boring. He explained the history of places with monotone, which is the only defect of the trip.

An enjoyable tour to the outskirts of Kyoto! The areas we visited are rather remote so it can be difficult to access unless you self-drive. The tour was well-planned but felt rather rushed towards the end. Would have loved to spend a bit more time at the thatched roof village

it was wet and cold day for the day trip to Ine, Amanohasdate and Miyama town. But, the guide, Ms Kelly was very professional in her choice of words. While reminding us to be careful of the wet grounds, she encouraged us to make the best of the situation. It takes an experienced guide like her to know what and how to say to the guests when the weather was certainly not in our favour. The driver drove safely even though it was difficult to see the roads due to the inclement weather. Overall, we’ve had a good trip with our guide and driver.

Really enjoyed this tour. Time at the Miyama Village was quite short but it was beautiful. Ine fishing village was great fun because you can feed the seagulls. The guide Naomi was very kind and helpful! The lunch was also good

It was an amazing experience! All the places were beautiful. While my time in Miyama Village felt too short, I completely understand. Thank you so much for this tour. Our tour leader, Kelly, was very friendly and spoke Chinese, which allowed me to re-learn some of it—please pardon my limited Chinese! She also spoke English, so communication was easy. Everything was perfect: the locations, the food, and the leader. Thank you for such an incredible experience!

Our driver Chen Fei is very nice and friendly. We sent the tour operator our itinerary and they made suggestions on how to enjoy our tour better. True enough, we didn’t encounter too much tourists in our destinations. We did a customized tour of Kyoto as follows: Fushimi Inari - Ninenzaka/Kodai-iji - Shirakawa Lane - Philosopher’s Path - Kyoto Imperial Palace. Tourists started flocking Fushimi Inari at 9am. Ninenzaka, which was packed a week before our visit was almost empty. I highly recommend this tour group and Chen Fei. thank you for making our Kyoto trip unforgettable.
