Things to do in Tian Tan Buddha

That day I felt that this line of work was very worthwhile. This time, a family of three took the 360 cable car to Ngong Ping together (bought a standard ticket). Even though it departed on a weekend afternoon, there were not many people queuing at that time. The wait for the return trip was longer, but the return cable car was actually Arranged to ride on the crystal car, which was a pleasant surprise.

We went on a Monday and the queue was long at the cable car. As we have booked a local tour at 12pm so the staff allowed us to use the priority line to get onto the cable car. Each cable car can take on max 8 pax. The ride was about 25 minutes. The local tour guide, Luna speaks good English I would say. Together with 2 other tourists from UK, the 5 of us took a private coach and started off to Tai O fishing village. Started off with a boat ride to see pink dolphins but we have no luck that day. After that, we went to one of the houses then F&E at the market. We tried the sugar doughnuts and mango mochi (recommended by the guide) and they were nice! The tour ended with a walk to see the big buddha and monetary.

On October 17, 2024, our family of 8 had a memorable day on the Ngong Ping 360 cable car in Hong Kong. The weather was foggy with light showers, giving the whole experience a mystical atmosphere. We rode in the standard cabins, which still offered great views as we ascended through the misty mountains and caught glimpses of the famous Tian Tan Buddha. The fog created a unique, almost serene feeling as we traveled through the clouds. After arriving at Ngong Ping, we explored the Po Lin Monastery and soaked in the peaceful, spiritual vibe of the area. Despite the weather, it was a wonderful day of adventure and family time!

We enjoyed the cable car ride and walked around the village. Booking thru klook made our experience even better no need to line up for tickets.

It was such a nice experience! We tried the Crystal Cabin, and it was the best choice. We really enjoyed seeing not just the skyline but also everything we saw below! truly something we can recommend our family and friends to try.
