The Yes Explosion Site Tour that I signed up for on the second day in Taiwan~ It was so much better than I expected~ The wind and rain made it difficult all day, but thanks to Ittageo (guide Lee Young-gi), I was able to enjoy the tour comfortably~ Even though he must have been tired, he shared his extensive knowledge of Taiwanese history throughout the tour, and it was great that we were able to move ahead of any other group with an efficient tour schedule~^^ You need to meet a good guide for more than 80% of the tour, so I think I was lucky~ :)

Thanks to the guide, Jo Ja-yang, she changed the course on a rainy day and we were able to finish the tour without any traffic jams. It was nice that she explained Taiwan and the restaurants on the bus, and she took orders for the chicken wing fried rice lanterns in advance and let us do it right away and gave us some free time, so I felt like I had a very fulfilling trip. Actually, I didn't plan on flying the lanterns, but since everyone else was doing it, I thought I'd give it a try and it was so much fun. It was even better because there were students taking the college entrance exams. Every time the guide spoke, I thought of musical actor Kim Ho-young, so it was so much fun. It was nice that the courses I wanted to go to in Taiwan were planned out so I could go around them all at once. The draft beer at the giant squid fried restaurant that she recommended in Jiufen was so delicious that I went back and had one more.

I met a great guide whose nickname is Yeongsim. She made good comments here and there, and most of all, she told me about good restaurants and gift lists. Thanks to her sense of changing the order of the itinerary, I was able to travel without getting caught up in people and without getting pushed around. It rained, but fortunately, it wasn't a heavy downpour, so I finished all the schedules well. If people around me say they're going to travel to Taiwan, I'd like to recommend that they meet Yeongsim. It was a trip where the ability of the guide 'Ittageo' shined more than that. On the day I went, there were over 350 people going to Yesu Explosion Site, but the schedule was adjusted so that I could see it as separated from other groups as possible. In addition, the old stories of Taiwan that were told here and there while moving were engraved in my ears, so the one-hour travel time was not boring. I made reservations for the food sold at each travel destination in advance and picked it up, so there was no waiting time at all. It was very convenient because the group order was organized separately and settled at once. I couldn't pass up the restaurant because it was so mouthwatering when they even explained how to eat it deliciously. Although it was a trip with rain and wind because of the typhoon, I think it will be a fun day to hear about Taiwan's history and get recommendations for places to visit on my next trip to Taiwan. It was the best choice I made during my trip to Taiwan (Taipei). Actually, I didn't expect much and decided on a day tour while looking for a suitable transportation...
