I had an amazing time on the Kyoto-Nara tour! Our guide, Eric, was incredibly professional, kind, and accommodating. As a solo traveler, I really appreciated him helping me take Instagram-worthy photos throughout the day. The tour was well-organized, with the bus leaving on time from VIP Namba. The first stop, Fushimi Inari, was breathtaking. If you climb higher up the trail, you can capture great solo shots. Although the climb was challenging, the view at the top made it all worthwhile. I nearly missed the bus but made it just in time for the 10:40 am call. Lunch was a shabu-shabu meal. While I'm personally not a fan of this dish, the restaurant staff were very polite, and it would be great if they offered other options like rice bowls. The second stop was the Golden Pavilion, which was easier to navigate with fewer stairs compared to Fushimi Inari. Lastly, the Nara Deer Park was so much fun! I enjoyed feeding the deer with my two sets of 200 yen biscuits, and we had the longest stay there, allowing some to relax at the nearby Starbucks. Overall, the tour was absolutely worth it. The day was productive, and I got to see multiple attractions in a single day.

The route of the trip was good especially if you’d like to see Uji. As we’re travelling with a coach, the big park lot is a little distance from the visit spots, so prepare a little walk if in summer or winter time. The great thing is the Sagano train tickets are reserved, so it saves time for queue and waiting. Overall it was a good one and recommend.

Our tour guide was very friendly, as was the bus driver. They were patient and made jokes to keep things light for everyone. I appreciate them. I also enjoyed the lesson about the difference between a temple and a shrine. Overall, I am very happy with my experience with them.

Interesting day trip out of Kyoto to recommend if you want something further away and having covered the usual spots like Nara/Inari etc. Close up seeing people feed the seagulls with shrimp stick crackers. The view from the top of the hill overlooking Amanohashidate was pretty nice too. The lunch at the restaurant was quite delicious as well. The Miyama village was pretty interesting and the whole place was beautiful, only a pity that there was limited time at Miyama village to explore more. Was quite lucky to see the sunflowers in bloom during my visit.

we arrived at the meeting point easily and our guide was ready waiting for us with a big smile. Very kind guide, knowledgeable and spoke English very well. Very comfortable bus trip. We made several stops accompanied by the guide and then free time available. Excellent excursion. Recommended

Nice group tour experience. So many tourist because it's Golden Week during our trip. We we're able to see Arashiyama Bamboo Forest and Kinkakuji Temple in Kyoto. We saw the Todai-ji Temple in Nara Park. Was able to feed the deer too. The tour includes buffet lunch. Tour guide is nice. We get back early so we still have time for shopping :)

The tour itinerary is well-paced, giving adequate time for each stop (i.e., Himeji Castle + Koko-en, Arima Onsen and Mt Rikki). Lunch is not included, but I would reccomend having it at Sakurasaku, which serves authentic Japanese food at reasonable prices.

We went on summer and its very hot and humid in Osaka so Totori gives us a bit of a comfort because its windy there. Our guide Joekowaki is very kind in assisting us, the food served for lunch is also Oishi. 2 beautiful Unesco places in 1 trip is hard to come by.
