Lovely experience. Went at 8am on a Saturday and there was no queue at all. Whole process was smooth. Highly recommended to go early in the morning as when we were coming back down at about 10am, there was a beeline of people queueing up for the tram.

It was amazing. I visited on a Saturday morning. It seems that mornings are late in Hong Kong, so there were not many tourists, and I was able to board the tram smoothly by purchasing a ticket in advance. I recommend experiencing the view from Sky Terrace 428 at least once. There were a lot of people around after lunch, but I was able to board smoothly. There were many shops, so I didn't have enough time for a 4-hour stay including lunch. The tram has unreserved seats, so I recommend sitting on the right side on the way up and on the left side on the way down.
