This is my first time staying in a cabin in Japan. It’s such a novel experience. It’s just that it’s far away from the hotel lobby and requires a shuttle bus to get there.

It was conveniently located near the station, and the free Mikado coffee was great. The bathroom was a little old, and the smell of damp towels was a bit of a problem, but the rest of the room was well-cleaned and comfortable. The room was not large, but the ceiling was high so it didn't feel cramped.

The room was so big that I thought I wasn't in Japan. The supermarket nearby is also very large and has a lot of stuff. If you don’t want to eat cooked food from the supermarket, you can also choose from McDonald’s. Hotel rental bicycles are relatively expensive, so you may consider renting bicycles near Karuizawa Station.
