Susukino tours

We got this discounted so that’s awesome. The tour was a nice experience but it’s all rushed. We didn’t get to enjoy the zoo as we had to walk straight to wait for the penguin walk and we need to be back on the bus after that. We also didn’t get to see the Ningle Terrace due to a highway closure which was pretty usual during winter season as our tour guide said. Anyways, we enjoyed it. Alex our tour guide was great, very nice english too so we learned new things about Hokkaido.

I highly recommend this tour! Our tour guide Alex was very accommodating and knowledgeable in all of the places we visited. He even recommended us products to buy and routes to follow in each destination to maximize the time. The schedule was strictly followed. I will be booking future tours from them again!

Our driver, Xiao Ma was on time, nice and efficient. We managed to go to all places we wanted to see in Furano/Biei from Farm Tomita, Shikisai No Oka, Blue Pond, Shirahige Falls, Mt. Tokachi and Ningle Terrace. We even had a nice lunch in a small restaurant on the way to Blue Pond. We were glad that we chartered this, so we can enjoy all those places at our own pace.

Start at the JR Supporo meeting point, then travel to Asahiyama Zoo (catch the penguin walk, of course). Spend half the morning, including lunch. Tour includes tickets. After that, travel to Shirahige Waterfall (take photos 20 minutes) and travel to the Seven Star Tree (take photos 10 minutes). And the last stop is Ningle terrance. The price for a 1 day tour is around 21xx per person. Personally, I think it's worth it because each place is far away. a lot And the weather is very cold, reducing the search and getting 4 places in 1 day.

Had an awesome trip! Although the Guide spoke in Japanese, she made sure that the key points were available in written English. She was professional in her approach. I would say it would be a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ exp to be in an ice-breaker ship! Highly recommended !

It was very cold in the snow park. We booked the snow mobile through our tour guide at a discounted rate. Although it was unlimited rides, the kids had to line up for the ride as there were not many snow mobiles. We went to the aquarium which was nice with many fishes, seals, penguins and dolphins. We didn’t stay for the shows since we had time limit and had to pick the others in Otaru shopping street- quite cold weather too. Shiroi koibito was beautiful especially at night with all the lights. We only had 30 mins so we only saw part of the clock show. Nice tour though.

Very worth it to have a customize itinerary in Sapporo's icy road, We had fun going toe Furano and Biei. We had to drop 1 of our designated place since we might go over 10 hrs but it's understandable since driving in Sapporo's icy road is difficult also and considering traffic. It's also convinient to have a custom pickup and drop off point. Just need to take note of peak season fee on top of this current price point. Driver was also very helpful! took pictures of us and suggested we might go overtime if we went through all our itinerary designations.

Asahiyama Zoo is huge as compared to other winter zoos I visited. The time allotted for this trip is just sufficient. The problem is that a hefty number of animals were not put in their cages for the public to see. Shirahige Falls was mind-blowing! <3 This is my fav part of this itinerary, so I kinda felt like 20 mins wasn't enough. Biei Pond was just so-so. I wasn't amused nor hated it. It was just frozen all over with a blue led light hitting the pond. I'm curious as to why we had to spend 10 more minutes in here than in the falls. One thing I didn't like was that we were situated at the back of the bus. The view was obstructed (we weren't able to enjoy the mountain views during the bus ride), & we technically had lesser time to spend in visiting the places. It was also my fault for misunderstanding that we won't be dropped off to where we were picked-up, so we had to walk for 1km to our hotel during a snowfall. Lastly, a few things to note: - Iwamizawa Service Area was full of filthy trash! I do hope they address this as it's something I didn't expect from Japan. - The tour guide can't speak English but tried his best to communicate.
