There were crowds of people at Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka in Kiyomizu Temple in Kyoto. It was better to change to other attractions to see people than to see the scenery. Fushimi Inari Taisha is really good, but you can't go too deep, otherwise there will not be enough time. Nara Park and Todaiji Temple in Wakakusa Mountain are both worth visiting.
