Things to do in Lat Phrao

Next time I go to Bangkok, I will definitely take a cooking class here! It's fun to start with grocery shopping, and they make it so that even people who can't cook at all can make delicious food! They prepare all the difficult and annoying parts separately. The explanations about the ingredients and food are also plentiful. They explain in an easy and fun way, and they always give safety reminders when handling knives. The tom yum goong and curry I made here were the best Thai food I've ever had! I will definitely go there again on my next trip to Bangkok. I will go twice or three times! Don't hesitate and just register. It's really the best. As you can see, the pictures come out well. It can't not turn out pretty. The best, the best.

A colorful and delicious experience. A very enjoyable morning that included a tour of the cooking market and lots of tips and explanations. Nan the chef was very nice and professional.

My cooking session kicked off in the afternoon, starting with a visit to the local market to pick up fresh ingredients before diving into the actual cooking. From the beginning, our guide Nan was an incredible and friendly teacher, guiding us around the market and explaining the various ingredients we’d be using for our dishes. After the market tour, a tuktuk whisked us away to the cookery, and that’s when the fun began.
We started with food prep, and Nan shared so many great tips on how to prepare the ingredients to make the dishes more fragrant and flavorful. Then the cycle of cooking and eating started and kept going! We made Tom Yum Goong, Pad Thai, Massaman curry, and Mango Sticky Rice. And WOW, the food we cooked was AMAZING! I was stuffed by the end and felt like a chef for the day.
I absolutely loved this experience and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok! Take a day away from the city’s hustle and make time for this class it’s so worth it.

Will definitely go again! We, a group of six, made a reservation for the afternoon class today and were very lucky to find available spots for us. All the arrangements—from the meeting place, to shopping for ingredients at the market, to learning cooking techniques, and the evolution of traditional Thai dishes—were perfect. Among our group of six, we had both children and elderly participants, and our instructor Nan was very attentive to every student. He used lively and engaging methods to teach us a lot about traditional Thai cuisine. We were amazed that we could cook dishes that were even more delicious and authentic than those in restaurants! Each of us prepared four different dishes to enjoy right away, which was truly delightful. In the end, Nan thoughtfully allowed me to take home the leftovers.

Naan was our instructor and he is fantastic! from the shopping at the local market where he introduced the local ingredients patiently to the cooking instructions, he was absolutely engaging, humourous and clear. It was such a wonderful experience that I would want to come back again. My 12 year old without cooking experience was able to cook well with his guidance.

The guide brought us to a local wet market and welcomed us to ask any questions. He’s very knowledgeable and with great hospitality! The cooking school is very clean and he tried to involve all of us in the small group during the process.

From a day before, when we received a WhatsApp with the location instructions, to the market stroll where there was room to ask all your questions and buy products for personal use, and finally the cooking workshop itself! Made some great tasting food thanks to the kind instructor!

The teacher is friendly and attentive, and takes everyone to the market to buy materials before class. In the class, you can try cooking classic Thai dishes, even if you have little cooking experience. After eating one dish, cook another one. It is recommended not to eat too much before class (you can pack it if necessary).
