Hotels near Higashiyama

For the price point, I was surprised to find out that the rooms had individual bathrooms. I was expecting more of a shared bathroom, hostel-type of situation. The main downside of this place is how far train stations are. There’s a nearby bus stop for three bus lines that all go to Kyoto Main Station, however.

It was a stay that felt like a Japanese-style ryokan. It was friendly, very quiet, and close to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, which was nice. The ryokan owner was friendly, and the breakfast was clean and tidy, which was really nice.

The accommodation is great! It's also very close to the subway (elevator). Although the counter is on the second floor, the signage is very clear, so you don't have to worry about finding it. The service staff are also very friendly and explain very clearly. The rooms are also very clean and the bathroom facilities are great! Big recommendation!

It was very comfortae and the room has everything we needed. Definetely will come here again in our future trip to Kyoto. Room was clean and spacious, with bigger bed (compared to most bed in Tokyo). They have washing machine, electric stove with complete utilities, refrigerator, water heater, microwave, even clothes hanger for drying your clothes! And it is located near bus station and Family Mart. Only 15-20 minutes walking to kimono rental shops and ninenzaka area. Very worth the price

After arriving, the front desk service was particularly enthusiastic. I was amazed by their professionalism. The hotel facilities are also very good. There is a coin-operated laundry room, which is not used by many people. There is also a place to dry clothes on the rooftop.
