So easy to travel to different prefectures in Japan using the JR Whole Japan Pass. We checked first if we needed one by plugging our travel itinerary in the JR Pass website to calculate if the 7-day pass price is lower than the total of each one way fares. We used ours from Osaka to Tokyo > Tokyo to Sapporo > Sapporo back to Tokyo. We even used it on some limited express trains in Hokkaido. We exchanged the vouchers at Shin Osaka Station and booked our reserved seats with luggage to Tokyo on our 4th day in Osaka. It is highly recommended to book the luggage compartment in advance as it is limited. We left our luggages in the hotel in Akasaka when we traveled to Sapporo for 5 days. We booked our tickets to Sapporo at the Yaesu Central Station the day we arrived in Tokyo then booked our seats from Sapporo back to Tokyo at the Sapporo Shinakansen ticket station near Daimaru. Everything was smooth and hassle free.

this is a must have pass if you are travelling to multiple places other then golden route. Initially you will be overwhelmed on the semantics of Japan Rail Network but once you give it time you will move like a pro. you will the highest flexibility possible when planning to visit places as there are JR connecting many attractions and historical places too!

JR Pass was really useful and cheaper compared when you purchase single journey ticket. It was also recommended when you plan to travel to different place around Japan like from Osaka to Tokyo to Sapporo

I started using the Whole Japan Rail Pass since 2019 and this is my fourth time availing it. I would like to believe that I was able to make the most of this pass despite the huge price increase. Thanks, Klook!

if you want to save a lot of money and want to explore the best of japan can offer using shinkansen and other jr services. this is the best value for money. I used this to tokyo-hakodate-sapporo-otaru-sapporo-hakodate-tokyo-nagano-tokyo. if you compute this it will be around 40k pesos but if you'll avail the jr pass you'll only paying. 18k pesos. thats a steal

For many this might not be the best answer to travelling around Japan however, I would recommend it if you want the flexibility and will be travelling extensively in Japan. I got it the 21 day pass and definitely found it very useful and valve for money.

if tour travelling to Japan, make sure to get your JR Pass with Klook. it will teach to you within 7 days. once you receive it, bring it to Japan and change it to Jr pass at rhe airport. really easy and its authentic. With the increase in the price of the pass. you need to carefully evaluate if it makes sense to buy. For me it did! I traveled all the way from Nagasaki to Sapporo so the pass has indeed paid for itself.
