Umeda district, also known as Kita, is a lively entertainment and shopping street located in Osaka City, Japan. Osaka is split into two city centers: the playful and colorful Namba Station, and the chic, trendy Umeda Station in the north. Umeda is where you'll find fancy dining spots, upscale shops, and iconic skyscrapers like the futuristic Umeda Sky Building and its major railway station, Hankyu Umeda Station. Whether you're looking for rooftop eateries, beer gardens, or shopping malls, including Grand Front Osaka, Umeda has it all. And while the energy here can be electric, there are also peaceful corners and historic spots tucked away in Umeda's quieter streets. Come and explore the best of Osaka in Umeda!

Great for Kansai Travel! The Kintetsu Rail Pass from Klook was super convenient and cost-effective. It covered multiple destinations like Osaka, Nara, and Kyoto, with unlimited rides on Kintetsu trains. Easy to book and redeem—highly recommend for hassle-free travel!

I bought it just before entering Osaka Castle. I recommend buying it in advance because you don't have to wait in line to buy tickets on the day, so you can enter smoothly. There were about 100 people in the line to buy tickets on the day at 9:00. (30 minute wait) There are a lot of foreign tourists, so it's better to buy in advance.

It is very convenient to exchange physical tickets in Nagoya. It is very convenient to go to the Kintetsu ticket office. You can go to Nahanazato and Nagashima outlets. There are free buses and it is very cost-effective.

It’s like the more famous JR Pass, but instead of the whole country, this is a 7-day version that covers western Japan, from Osaka and Kyoto out west to Nagasaki. There is another version that is limited to Fukuoka (I.e. doesn’t include Nagasaki), but this one includes the whole northern part of Kyushu. Be careful when choosing which pass you’re getting! You will get a physical voucher mailed to you from Klook. Do not lose it! You will need to take it to Japan with you. Once there, look for a JR Green Office. Almost all of them will be able to exchange your voucher for the actual ticket. Don’t lose that either! You will use it to ride all your western JR trains, including Shinkansen trains (plus some other things too, like the JR ferry to Miyajima). I heat that the voucher system may go away soon (2025?) in lieu of an online system, so this advice may be out of date by the time you read it…

I highly recommend this day tour for anyone looking to experience the best of Kyoto in a single day. As the only English-speaking tourist on the bus, I was lucky to have Ms. Hama from LIMON, as my tour guide. She was incredibly dedicated and professional, ensuring I had a fantastic experience. Throughout the day, she went above and beyond, personally coming to my seat to explain the history and details of each attraction in-depth. Her knowledge and passion for Kyoto's culture made the trip even more enjoyable. If you're short on time and want to see the top sights in Kyoto, this tour is perfect, and Ms. Hama truly made it unforgettable. Thank you, Ms. Hama, for making my day in Kyoto so special!
