The one-way trip is estimated to take 4 hours. There is a free shuttle bus (with guidance) at the parking lot. If you don't take the shuttle bus, it will take 30-40 minutes to walk. The ride is the last stop, so don't worry, come to Saint-Michel The weather in Ershan is relatively cool, so it is recommended to bring a coat. Along the way up, pass the shopping street and food street. There are many choices in the food street. Tickets are required only when you walk to the church at the top. The scenery is very beautiful.

Mont Saint-Michel and Giverny are located outside of Paris, so it was hard to find them, so I booked a guided tour. I took my elementary and middle school kids there, and the guide, Hwang Jae-dong, was so cheerful and explained things in an easy-to-understand way that the kids liked them. They also liked him because he was handsome. Maybe it was because he was a violinist, but his guidance was delicate, kind, and elegant! ^^ Even in the bad weather when it was raining a lot, he was so kind until the end and even lent me an umbrella, thank you! Thank you for guiding me and driving me until late at night! Thanks to you, I was able to make comfortable and enjoyable memories! I also used the useful information on good restaurants and shopping that you gave me!! I would like to recommend the Hwangje guide~ I will always wish you good health and happiness from afar! (Mont Saint-Michel was a bit difficult for the kids to tour, but Giverny was amazing! It was a place that reminded me of Monet's paintings and was beautiful!)

I chose a self-guided tour, which took a total of ten hours round trip. There was 20-25 minutes to stop and rest/go to the toilet/buy food in the middle of each trip. The tour time was about 3-4 hours, which was enough to visit the entire Mont Saint-Michel. The tour guide following the car was very attentive and polite. For some tourists who did not understand English, she would try her best to let them know the meeting place and time clearly, and even make sure they knew how to get back to their hotel at the disembarkation point on the return trip. This was very good. Heartwarming.

The views from afar and up close were spectacular. The location was used for filming The Lord of the Rings and was also the model for Hogwarts Castle in Harry Potter, and many emotions came over me. I had to return home around 4pm because of the tour, but if I had the chance, I would like to stay until dusk.

It was a really enjoyable day. The weather was moderately cool and it was a sunny day that only comes a few times a year! There are many sites, products, and guides, but how did I meet Hwang Guide? 🥹 Thanks to him, I was so comfortable, and he explained the detailed history and details of each spot, so I was able to look at every corner from a different perspective. Especially the night view of Mont Saint-Michel at the end... Someone said in passing that they wanted to take this view to their room, and I completely understood and sympathized with that. Even as time passes, I will never forget the cool air of that day, the sky that seemed to be burning as the sun set, and the round full moon rising with the pink-purple sky on the other side 🌕🩷💜🌅

Middle-aged boss, thank you for driving since dawn~ I'm sorry I can't remember your nameㅠㅠ The fun comments and music we listened to while moving kept us from getting bored. The guide Hwang Je-dong of the Mont Saint-Michel tour explained things so well that it stuck in my ears. It was a tour of Etretat - Honfleur - Mont Saint-Michel, and every place was greatㅠㅠ Since there were 6 of us in the group, my husband and I sat in the 2-person seat next to the driver, and it was cramped and uncomfortable, but the guide drove well, so we were able to sleep well here and there during the trip!

It’s a very worthwhile day trip. Although the bus ride takes up to 9 hours, seeing Mont Saint-Michel is worth it!

The monastery is located on a beautiful island with picturesque scenery. The itinerary is well organized and the tour guide is rich in content. The climb is a bit challenging, but the view once you reach the top is absolutely stunning.
