You should choose this in the middle of jam packed itineraries for a relatively slower day. We travelled from Kyoto and the trip started at 9:50 am and ended around 6pm. The bus ride to Amanohashidate was about 2 hrs and beautifill. Then we went up the chairlift and explored amanohadhidate"s sandbar, turning Bridge and Chionji temple (all within a 10 min walk radius) and then took the bus to Ine Village. In Ine we took the stairs (about 70) down to the village and explored it for maybe 10 min and then got on the ferry cruise which was for about 15-20 min. All in a lazy day. Our guide Minako was knowledgeable, explained the area very well and helped take us pictures (for which we were super grateful). Get the fan OMIKUJI from the temple and on your way to Amanohashidate.. you'll see the Japan Sea running parallel to the road you are on. Very very pretty.

It is very convenient to just take a tour bus and reduce the troublesome transportation problems! For lunch, there is a group restaurant right next to the Amanohashidate Ropeway Station, which is very convenient! Tour guide Xiao Cai introduced a lot of Japanese culture and traditional origins and gained a deeper understanding of Japanese culture.

Tour was well organized and we had ample time to see the the sights & experience a good time in Amanohashidate🚡 Felt a little bit rushed in Ine Funaya though as we had to move from one spot to another to make it in time for the ferry boat ride.. wish there was an option to stay in the village part of the area (with the café) if you don't wanna join the boat ride🙂But all in all, this was a great tour as going to these places by yourself would be more tiring😅

Pleasant experience, worth introducing to friends. There is a long way between Amanohashidate and Miyama Town. Make time to visit each attraction when you arrive, so you have the chance to see them all.

I am very grateful to the tour guide who led this time, Mr. Han Jun. At the beginning of the trip, he made the entire trip plan very clear and explained some small details and precautions to us. Kyoto by the Sea - Amanohashidate is really a very special place. This time is a preliminary experience. If you like slow swimming, you can actually enjoy a few more days here. The itinerary is quite compact, and the famous attractions are all I saw it and I am very happy to join this tour group.
